It was okay (at best), but because i already read 'You' by Kepnes, it was predictable. I finished it because I wanted to see where it was going. I only downloaded this from a bookTok recommendation and I wish I used my credit for something more fullfilling. The narration wasnt bad, I'm not sure what the bad reviews for that was.

Huge Fail

The story had/has so much promise but the writing style and the narraration was just god awful. I mean even when she is discussing her children and loving them the speaker is bland and has no emotion. just a waste of time.

GONE TOO SOON!!

I am still so saddened by the sudden loss of Tim/Avicci.
His music has given me, and so many others, a reason to smile, laugh and be grateful for and to think behind all that he was suffering so badly. That is such a tragedy. My heart breaks for his family and I wish they find comfort knowing how much joy their son brought to the world.
I wish for anyone suffering like Tim that they find help and hope in knowing there is always a better day ahead and they are not alone <3

LOVE Will Smith - but this was a LOT of ego

This book was so enjoyable to listen to and produced really well.
I love Will Smith and I appreciate learning more of his backstory, especially since I am from SW Philly myself. HOWEVER, I could have done without the several repetitive ego trips and braggadocios nature when he talked about himself. We get it, Will, you've generated a LOT of wealth and money to the industry. I think I was expecting a more in depth look at the man and not the "MEGA SUPERSTAR"

I feel duped

This was the worst short story EVER. The narration was awful and the pauses were so frequent and long that I thought my phone was shutting off. The story itself is completely UNINTERESTING! I was cheering on the waves toward the end that is how bad it was!
I cannot believe I wasted a credit on this weirdo!

this is everything!

Normally, I stick to non fiction; however, I'm SO glad I chose this book! Everything about the story was perfect! Just the right amount of awkwardness, love and sadness! The flow of the story was easy to listen to and the narrator was amazing. I hope they make this a movie one day!

Justice provided too late...

This one really got to me. I listen to lots of true crime novels and hearing how a mother had to endure that type of psychological damage , listening to her children plead for their lives, is just downright barbaric! I am not religious by any means, but I wholeheartedly believe there is a SPECIAL place is the deepest depths of hell for people like John Battaglia.
I followed up on google after reading this, and without giving away spoilers, justice was finally served TOO LATE.
he should have been put in a cage after his first marriage. Our "justice" system failed these little girls. I think I will be taking a true crime break after this one.
