I have missed Ms. Dratch since her departure from SNL. Saw her here and there of various movies. But, her comedy is truly unique. This memoir was honest, fun, funny, heartfelt and over great to listen to. I loved it! Thanks Ms. Dratch…happy mothering and look forward to seeing you in a movie or show in the future. I’m a fan!!!

I love her honesty and humor. Pure Amy…that is, if I knew her. Loved it. A nice look inside her journey.

I had to start this off in small bites. It is intense. But, her story had a way of drawing me in. Her pain and resilience is relatable. The fight through her insistence on being a good mom, teacher and pet parent, I kept shaking my head in affirmation. I love her storytelling. Her inspiring message of healing and love.

I love how they celebrate life and the guests . The friendships they have aluminates through the show. They are perfectly hilarious. I was a fan before this PC and I am an even bigger fan now! Both figuratively and literally. (Thanks Covid!)

This was wonderfully told. Chilling that this doc was such an incompetent subhuman. The evidence presented and the way she told the story kept me binging.

Very similar in pace and style to Columbus Day and really great to have RC Bray and Craig Alanson paired up again. The abrupt ending of this book (obviously teeing up the next edition) is a little disappointing. I’d love to have at least this first book be truly standalone. Otherwise, I loved it!

Thank you Prince Harry. I know this book will save lives. Your legacy will not only be the love for your children and the adults they become, but, will be the sharing of pain. The love the pours from his voice for his family is palpable. I have so much respect for Prince Harry and Meg. Such a beautiful legacy for generations.

Read this or Not: I don't give a F*ck

Would you consider the audio edition of The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck to be better than the print version?

In my current life, I don't have time to read. But, I'm in the car enough that audio books are great alternatives. In this case, the performance was great, but the way a good audio book performer changes his or her voice to be unique for each character was distracting in this sort of setting. I think the characterizations didn't always move the point of the book in the right direction.

Have you listened to any of Roger Wayne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've heard some of his other stuff. He's very good.

Any additional comments?

This is a great message that isn't unique to this author. I liked the writing very much, especially for a younger crowd that might not have the patience for those who would say the same things in less humorous ways. I did feel as if the author was padding the end of the book. It's as if a really good essay needed a few thousand more words to justify selling it as a book. I think some focused tools at the end would've played better than rehashing other points.

This was a great book! The technical writing was perfect for the story. The narration was fun to listen to, filled with emotion, and never boring. The only problem with the entire book was the Bay Area. I don't want to give anything away, but there's a bit of waxing philosophical the ties things up in just to fine of a bow.
