Great material, poor narration

The material is very good and well laid out. On the other hand, the narration is horrible. Mono-tonous /hypnotic voice and many mistakes in pronunciation of medical terms. For a book like this the narrator should have been provided a list of terms that needed to be pronounced correctly. I can accept a few mispronunciations but they are all the way through the book; has become a distraction from the material. Agree with others that it would be better if Ben Greenfield read it. I will likely return it and purchase the hard copy as a reference book.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
This book didn't really have much that I haven't heard before, I've been reading about this topic for some time. However, for someone just stepping into this world the author has done a good job of creating a good story line and supporting it with references to authors who are pioneers in the field. If you haven't explored this concept much, you will have your reading list set out for you.
