Hard to take serious

It’s not a bad book. It really isn’t, it’s enjoyable and entertaining, however the second I start hearing Whitley Strieber quotes it makes me wonder how deep this dudes research really went. Most critical thinking people put Mr. Strieber in the solid sci/fiction section - so using his ideas and quotes about his “experiences” in relation to solving the “phenomenon” is a bit kooky. Super disappointing. Jacques Vallee did it best, despite his support of I am Spoonbender over there.
Unfortunately, I think ufology and fellas like Masters are a totally different field from the few who study what the anomalous events in the skies are. We would be foolish to refer to it as one thing like a “phenomenon”, since we know many of them by logic and deduction will go from unknown to known once we have the right cameras and measuring tools. And inherently most very mundane. But ufology proper is a circus of humans pushing their sci-fi theories, the more magical the better, because it’s
Also the quote about AATIP getting 22 Million Dollar happened… again - totally incorrect reporting and quote. AWESAP got the 22 Million Dollars. AATIP as we know it was elizondos off the books solo project after work. This is BASIC stuff.
Fun and it Sells Books! Sold this one to me, despite me being very skeptical at this point.
Do better, Masters.

From the JUMP this book takes a swipe at anyone not subscribed to mainstream media (Fox, cnn, oann) and takes jihadism political. Woulda been more helpful and beneficial to have a nonbiased take on what’s going on. So much for that.

Really impressed with the knowledge of these guys. From Peter Levenda’s life of fraud as a Wandering Bishop, to George Van Tassel and the Space Brothers. A rare thing to find anymore in UFOLOGY. Erica’s shows ALWAYS knock it out of the park when she’s hosting them, but this was an awesome treat. She rolls in good company.

Leonard Stringfield was born in 1920. He was director of CRIFO (Civilian Research, Interplanetary Flying Objects) - one of the world's largest research groups during the mid-50s, and publisher of its newsletter, ORBIT (1953-1957). He also worked in cooperation with the United States Air Force (1953-1957), investigating and reporting UFO activity, having been assigned a special code number for reporting to the Air Defense Command in Columbus, Ohio. For over 30 years, Stringfield served in several of the major UFO organizations in a public relations capacity. From 1957 to 1970, he was public relations adviser with the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP). Later on, he was Director of Public Relations and a board member of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). He was also a regional investigator for the Center for UFO Studies, directed by Dr. J. Allen Hynek. Stringfield was an executive with DuBois Chemicals, an international manufacturer. Stringfield retired in 1981 as Director of Public Relations and Marketing Services for DuBois Chemicals, a division of Chemed Corp., after 31 years of service with the company. From 1967-1968 he served as Early Warning Coordinator for the University of Colorado UFO Project, screening UFO reports for possible scientific study. Stringfield was also an advisor to Sir Eric Gairy, former Prime Minister of Grenada, 1977-78, during his efforts to establish a UFO research agency within the framework of the United Nations. Stringfield passed away in 1994, leaving a string of fascinating publications behind, one of which is Crash Retrievals: Status Report II: The UFO Crash Retrieval Syndrome - New Sources, New Data, based on a talk Stringfield gave at a MUFON convention in 1978.

Swann was one of the most accomplished remote viewers, pioneering the method to a very successful if oft ignored and downplayed program. He was shown to be correct and accurate, trustworthy enough to be hired by the CIA and DIA - fascinating book that holds up through time!
