I think this series is underrated. It is very well researched and has a solid reference appendix. The narration was top notch and it was only after finishing the audio book that I realized that it was narrated by the author. I wish the world was as fantastical today as historically described in this book. Myths and legends do have some truth as it’s kernel and we see similar deities as part of folklore across disparate parts of the world that had no ways to communication, transmission or intermingling, that does raise some curiosities in the mind of a thoughtful thinker.

Historia
Animal Farm is George Orwell's great socio-political allegory set in a farmyard where the animals decide to seize the farmer's land and create a co-operative that reaps the benefits of their combined labours. However, as with all great political plans, some animals see a bigger share of the rewards than others and the animals start to question their supposed utopia.

Awesome story and I dare say the allegory is still relevant today. I loved it that the narrator brought a personality to each character with such ease. As for the author, no amount of lavish praise is sufficient, but he is one of my favourites and has stood the test of time.

Revisado: 10-29-20
This book is brilliant, do yourself a favour, go out and purchase a print or kindle edition as of yesterday and read it, annotate it and refer back it. It is a distillation of Dr Smil’s books and expertise. However as an audible product, the concept density per spoken line is very high and that you keep hitting rewind on audible, makes it frustrating. This book is not for casual reading, let alone listening on audible. Dr Smil is my absolute favourite thought leader. I love this book and ended up rereading, the kindle version this time.

From the leafy forest floor to the inside of a beehive, The Inner Life of Animals takes us from microscopic levels of observation to the big philosophical, ethical and scientific questions.

Historia
One of the most fascinating and strategic topics in ancient texts is the record of fallen angels, giants, and UFO s. Fallen angels and giants are shrouded in mystery and belong to the age of pyramids and other great wonders of the world. It is an epoch that was destroyed by God s judgment, a flood, which left the world everlastingly changed, the evidence of which is found in the tales, folklore, and traditions of many cultures around the world. There were giants in the earth in those days....

Very Good
Revisado: 11-06-12
Would you consider the audio edition of Fallen Angels: Giants, UFO Encounters and the New World Order to be better than the print version?
I have not read the print version.
Who was your favorite character and why?
NA
What about Lynn Benson’s performance did you like?
Very good, brought energy in an engaging subject.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
the entire book is good and worth the price. i believe all those who wait for the second coming or people who view Bible as a old story for the aged should read this book.
Any additional comments?
UFO coverage was inadequate. There should be more coverage on books of Jasher & Enoch from a historical perspective. Gnosticism should also have been unveiled as a credible threat.

Free, but could be better.
Revisado: 11-06-12
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I cannot to whom it might appeal, perhaps to a very young audience or die hard fans of neil
Would you ever listen to anything by Neil Gaiman again?
Sure. Why not. This was a very short tepid story; and even though it was a waste of time, the writing style was witty and personal and hence does not as an exception reflect on the author's larger body of work.
What about Neil Gaiman’s performance did you like?
The narrator (author) did a good job.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Click-Clack the Rattlebag?
I would have put more vision and drama. The intro section was like a cormac mcarthy normal which should'nt be the case due to paucity of time & space. Suspense should creep in and leave the listener high and wanting for more.
Any additional comments?
This is a great step towards Corporate Social Responsibility / Charity. I would praise and encourage audible towards more such initiatives.

Makes for an interesting perspective
Revisado: 11-05-12
What did you love best about Chariots of the Gods?
The story is engaging and many a facts presented will make you yearn to corroborate from other sources. Much of the info is dated and the fantastical conjectures are not very believable every time. However it is the enthusiasm of the author and well translated by the reader which makes things interesting and not to mention that the authors thesis may be true to some extent as many of the Herculean feats betrays a higher intelligence in play. The amazing mathematics of the Giza pyramids and Mayan astronomical finesse cannot be attributed to tribe intelligence, if so where has this intelligence disappeared, as no doubt with all the modern scientific capabilities much of these architectures cannot be replicated.
What other book might you compare Chariots of the Gods to and why?
To all the readers who might be interested, I will gladly suggest books by c.k.quartermain and Dr Patric Heron (few of ken johnson's) esp those related to aliens, ufo and nephilim etc which presents a similar case with a dramatically different flavour and replete with scriptural - historical cross-references. If you like chariots of god you will not fail to appreciate the solid thesis of these authors. Works of these authors are also available in audible.
Any additional comments?
This book is a pioneer work and should be read by all who get a nagging feeling about the incongruencies in ancient history. But beware the stuff in the book are mostly opinions and in the current times much more scientific & archaeological clarity is available freely on the Internet.

Amazing Narration!
Revisado: 09-07-12
Would you consider the audio edition of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz to be better than the print version?
Yes. Each one case its merits. In this case Anne's performance is the game changer.
What other book might you compare The Wonderful Wizard of Oz to and why?
I am not a fantasy/fiction reader. However I value this book on the subtle moral values it pushes to children. In a day and age where parents do not devote much quality time, children are nannied, exposed to various hedonistic influences the need for quality and wholesome content cannot be overelaborated.
What does Anne Hathaway bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Voice Acting. You can imagine the world but it is entirely different to behold a class act. Her reading style is highly topical and engaging.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
None. But the book is a classic and needs no introduction. It is a allegory and hence makes you reflect at times. It is fun overall but not extreme.
Any additional comments?
Anne you need to read much more as from a social cause perspective. Engaging voice acting which the whole family enjoys is a great way to connect and fans.
