Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

A fun ride!
Revisado: 06-21-24
It started off with a bang that got me hooked instantly. The initial excitement kind of wore off and the story kind of dragged for a bit in early middle part. All of that changed though the moment you meet [redacted]. The narrators voice for this character is absolutely fantastic and I found myself laughing out loud at the play between the main character and the other. This book was largely setup for the next story and even as a world building and explanation story it was great. I love the main cast of characters and the intrigue of the story was super fun. I am going to have to get all of these now.

Historia
With the help of a command AI, the hole in the Daedalus has been fixed by Hazel and her friends. But in the process, they have antagonized the Yi, the aliens who are actually controlling the Daedalus. After a daring escape from the Yi, Hazel and her friends now must convince the people of the Daedalus villages and the village leaders that the Yi exist - and that they must fight back in order to survive. This proves tricky, as those in power don't want their authority challenged.

Loved every second of it. The main characters are very well fleshed out and feel quite real.

Historia
When The Sandman, also known as Lord Morpheus - the immortal king of dreams, stories and the imagination - is pulled from his realm and imprisoned on Earth by a nefarious cult, he languishes for decades before finally escaping. Once free, he must retrieve the three “tools” that will restore his power and help him to rebuild his dominion, which has deteriorated in his absence.

Solid Production - Story isn't my favorite
Revisado: 10-12-22
I am part of the way through this book but I am enjoying it. Sometimes I feel like the performance is a bit over the top but this is a very interesting production. The story has been engaging from the first minute and I can't wait to listen to the rest of it. I would like to see more novels done in this manner.
Update! and maybe some spoiler stuff.
I have revised the story from a 4 star down to a 1 star. The performance through the book has been outstanding but good god this has taken a serious turn for the worse. I have never stopped reading a book part way through because of gore, or psychological horror issues but I have to stop now. I don't really like gross stuff involving kids and that had me on edge already. When it came to a really fracked up version of Little Red Riding Hood I called it. I cannot get beyond my revulsion to continue this any further. The parts about Morpheus was super interesting and gripping but the rest has been a bizarre meandering of gore, psychological horror and bizarre tales.
