Very Helpful!

With the medication shortage, my ADHD has pretty much been unmanaged. I have forgotten a lot tools that I learned in therapy 2 decades ago when I was first diagnosed, and this book is helping me by reminding me of some of those tools and giving me new tools to help me cope.
My biggest struggle is keeping a clean house. I have always struggled with keeping my space clean and this book is helping me a TON to organize, reduce clutter, and clean. The author breaks down tasks and suggests you stop after each chapter and implement what that chapter was about. And then the next day, do the following chapter. It's been so helpful. I'm either an all or nothing type of person, so if I'm not spending 10+ hours deep cleaning my house, then I'm doing the bare minimum to have clean clothes and clean dishes. I recommend this book to anyone with ADHD that wants to get a handle on many tasks that seem to come so naturally for neurotypical folks.

Historia
At last, the full story behind Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman's epic romance, including stories, portraits, and the occasional puzzle. How did they do it? They came from completely different families, endured a significant age difference, and were separated by the gulf of several social strata. Megan loved books and art history; Nick loved hammers. But much more than these seemingly unsurpassable obstacles were the values they held in common: respect, decency, the ability to mention genitalia in almost any context, and an abiding obsession with the songs of Tom Waits.

Not the greatest love story ever told
Revisado: 11-06-18
Listening to the book was more like listening to a podcast, which was different but not necessarily unpleasant- the whole time I kept thinking did they go through their actual book and make notes on how they can make the story into a conversation? So it was a little distracting that they acted like they had never heard the story the other person was telling.
It’s very bland- they spend a short amount of time on how they met and fell in love and more time talking about their individual upbringing and stories.
At the end of the day I stopped the book with 1 hour 20 min left (I kept waiting for it to get good) and I returned the book for a credit I can use on something else.

Historia
Frieda Klein is a solitary, incisive psychotherapist who spends her sleepless nights walking along the ancient rivers that have been forced underground in modern London. She believes that the world is a messy, uncontrollable place. The abduction of five-year-old Matthew Farraday provokes a national outcry and a desperate police hunt. And when his face is splashed over the newspapers, Frieda cannot ignore the coincidence: one of her patients has been having dreams in which he has a hunger for just such a child.

Ok. Entertaining enough.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No. 97% of the book is a run around, half of which goes nowhere. The entire book leads up to several mysteries getting 'solved' within the last 10 minutes of the book. Very unrealistic.
Would you be willing to try another book from Nicci French? Why or why not?
I did. I listened to the next 2 books in this series. It seems I have ran out of good books to listen to.
