Historia
Warning: You may have a huge, invisible spider living in your skull. This is not a metaphor. You will dismiss this as ridiculous fearmongering. Dismissing things as ridiculous fearmongering is, in fact, the first symptom of parasitic spider infection - the creature secretes a chemical into the brain to stimulate skepticism, in order to prevent you from seeking a cure. That’s just as well, since the “cure” involves learning what a chain saw tastes like. You can’t feel the spider, because it controls your nerve endings.

I loved how this book kept going and going and going with all the nonsense of a zombie book. It’s perfect . a fun read.

Historia
After more than a decade, when sisters Nikki, Sami, and Tori Knotek hear the word mom, it claws like an eagle’s talons, triggering memories that have been their secret since childhood. Until now. For years, behind the closed doors of their farmhouse in Raymond, Washington, their sadistic mother, Shelly, subjected her girls to unimaginable abuse, degradation, torture, and psychic terrors. Through it all, Nikki, Sami, and Tori developed a defiant bond that made them far less vulnerable than Shelly imagined.

Unbelievable but true
Revisado: 02-19-20
This is a very disturbing story of love and betrayal in a family unit. It shook me to my core. If it were not true I would have loved it. The fact it is true makes me cringe.
Karen Peakes narrates this with such feeling, at times I believe she will break into sobs herself.
I enjoyed this reading

Historia
Awe and exhilaration—along with heartbreak and mordant wit—abound in Lolita, which tells the story of the aging Humbert Humbert's obsession for the nymphet Dolores Haze. Lolita is also the story of a hypercivilized European colliding with the cheerful barbarism of postwar America.

Just WOW
Revisado: 03-27-15
At first the story line started out slow and weak. But I kept listening and got caught up in the life of this monster. Almost to the point of understanding him in his sickness. What a way to look at the other side of a tragedy

Historia
This lovely narrative tells the story of the soul of a quiet man who never hurt another human being, never complained even when he was hurt or humiliated by others, as it enters the Heavenly Court of Judgment. He has lived his entire life unnoticed, without heirs of possessions, and has been buried with no one to mourn his loss. But Heaven sees him much differently.

FUNNNNNNN !!!
Revisado: 03-05-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would defenantly recommend this to my friends. It is sad, lite, funny, and a very short brake from the norm.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Boynsher the Silent?
His simple request at the end. I wish my life was so simple.
Have you listened to any of David Ian Davies’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Have not heard other recordings but will look for them. they do add chareture to the story.
If you could take any character from Boynsher the Silent out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Boynsher himself! he would not mess things up with needly chatter.

Historia
Gilbert Morris has written more than 80 inspiring novels, many of them best sellers. In this epic work, he and his co-authors use Biblical truth and powerful allegory to offer a new way of thinking about the end times. In the year 2050, the U.S. government rules that humanity is nature’s worst enemy and herds all of its citizens into a few overcrowded cities. An insidious new version of Germany’s Third Reich, led by an indestructible madman, infiltrates the White House and uses an electricity-eating virus to plunge the nation into darkness.

End of sorrows!
Revisado: 03-05-12
If I was to READ this book I would have put it down on the third chapter. The story line is very long winded, and on some points Redundent. I did however follow it to the end. I did get into the charetures in the story and have ponderd long on the ideas brought up about how our walk with God can be lost in the living. If you are one who likes to read between the lines this is not the book for that. If you are one who likes to ponder others point of view this is a PERFECT resouce to that end.
Over all I enjoyed the reading, Paul brought a lot of feeling to this book that I would not have felt.

Opening the mind
Revisado: 11-12-11
This was a very pleasant enlightenment to the depths of what we believe and how we or better said I believe. The foundation on which we build our beliefs upon, made very simple with this book. I loved the way simple thought was made to dig deeper into the ideas we project in the way we live when we say" I am a Christian." I found this book spoke volumes to me of how much I really don't know and how much I placed on feelings when it came to my soul and where I stood in Christ. I Truly enjoyed this book. have listened twice and got plenty each time.
