Such a wonderful book!
Revisado: 06-12-19
I absolutely loved this book! From the moment I started through to the end, it’s such a wonderful story. The characters are full and developed, and as a reader I was attached to all of them. Heartfelt enough to bring tears and funny enough to laugh out loud. Both writing and narrating were perfect. I would highly recommend, I absolutely loved it!

Historia
One morning, Jessa-Lynn Morton walks into the family taxidermy shop to find that her father has committed suicide, right there on one of the metal tables. Shocked and grieving, Jessa steps up to manage the failing business, while the rest of the Morton family crumbles. Her mother starts sneaking into the shop to make aggressively lewd art with the taxidermied animals. Her brother Milo withdraws, struggling to function. And Brynn, Milo's wife - and the only person Jessa's ever been in love with - walks out without a word.

Animal lovers beware.
Revisado: 06-10-19
I love that this book has a queer main character and a unique story line but I couldn’t finish reading it. Animals are not treated well in this book. I finally stopped reading and left this book unfinished because several beautiful peacocks were killed, in a callus and flippant way. And that was not the first time I nearly stopped reading due to the treatment of animals, it had just been the last straw. Didn’t like the characters and hated the flippant disregard of animals and their treatment. Animals lovers should definitely beware before reading this book.
