Historia
Tanner loves baseball, but he’s not a big fan of being bossed around by those in charge: his parents, his baseball coach, God - who, if he exists, surely doesn’t have time to spend on a small-town middle schooler. But Tanner finds his world rocked when he is sucked into a bowl of leftover spaghetti and shot into a land of talking pasta who carry swords and spears - all of whom believe in a mysterious higher power they call “Chef”. Their world is under attack by a giant spaghetti dragon, and they seem to think Tanner is the one sent to save them.

A wonderful faith-based adventure for the whole family!

Are you looking for an exciting faith-based adventure to listen to with your family? Maybe taking a road trip soon? If you have kids, ages of 8 to 12, then I highly recommend this awesome audible of Into the Great Marinara.
I really enjoyed this book when I read it. And when I heard there was an audible version, I just knew I would have to listen to it. And I’m so thrilled I did I LOVE this book now! The narrator brought this book to life better than expected! This story is rich with characters. He captured every personality perfectly, just how I imagined they would sound. And his narration of the descriptions of the “Food” land made my mouth water!
This had flavors of The Lord of the Rings, especially with all the colorful characters. And everything in the land was scrumptious—pink cotton candy clouds, fruit flowers, a fountain of chocolado, marinara lava, mountains of dew, a rock candy castle! And so much more—it was very imaginative.
There are some light battle scenes and a couple of deaths of the food people, but no gory detail—they’re food after all. Parents will be able to point out the gospel truths and discuss with their kids. I love the wrap up at the end!
What a wonderful audible. You and your kids will not be disappointed!
Now I’m inspired to produce an audible of my own book. Gonna start praying for that. Prayer hands
Are there any Christian middle-grade audio books you can recommend?
