Disappointing
Revisado: 01-01-25
I really love Patrick Stewart but I think he missed the mark on a lot of his memoir. He was so concerned to
mention everyone he worked with, that I think he didn’t tell enough story, especially in his latter career. I wanted to hear more about his time with Sir Ian or Hugh Jackman. It seemed he glossed over so much that people would be interested in.

Lakota perspective
Revisado: 11-23-21
This account is historically biased, by which I mean that, it is told strictly from the Sioux side of the story. With that bias, you receive some barbs towards the US (ie white America). The Lakota crossed the great river and pushed the Kiowa out of the Dakotas. The Kiowa settled in Oklahoma after being pushed out. The Lakota were not conquers like the whites. 1/3 of the book veers away from Little Big Horn and discusses their language, an asylum, AIM in the 1970s. Its almost like he ran out of material for the book and just added whatever to fill pages. The author should have gone in depth with some of the Sioux that people don’t recognize like Gaul. Overall, first 2/3rds were worth listening to.

Nine of us came here. We look like you. We talk like you. We live among you. But we are not you. We can do things you dream of doing. We have powers you dream of having. We are stronger and faster than anything you have ever seen. We are the superheroes you worship in movies and comic books—but we are real.

Terrible narration
Revisado: 01-29-19
I liked the book until the narrator decided to use vastly different voices for each character. It was so bad, I turned it off.

Interest Waned
Revisado: 04-05-16
I really like the first novel, the second failing to meet its predecessor's greatness but still very good, then the third one was bought. It became silly and lost the magic of the previous two. I wish they would have gone in a different direction.

Dark and gritty. I don't know what else to say except these books keep me spiraling down. If you like real vampire books, then this is for you.

I got this on a whim because I had an extra credit during my account. I'm really glad I did. It's cute, well written and well, if you're married...you understand where they're coming from.

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

EGO
Revisado: 06-02-12
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I was really interested in this book when I saw it but I author has begun to lime his loegend a little too much. He keeps saying how humble he is then goes into an ego driven lecture about his feats. It was a little too much.
Would you recommend American Sniper to your friends? Why or why not?
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you ant to read about SEALS, then listen to LONE SURVIVOR.
Was American Sniper worth the listening time?
I got bored with it and shelfed it twice before finishing it.
