I enjoyed every minute of this novel, not only because of the content, but because of the people who narrated it. I am watching the Truman Capote movie with the swans as we speak. It was such an interesting life they lead. Evelyn pulled back the cover for us all to see and it’s thrilling!!

I'm very grateful to have found the podcast and then this book. I have read a lot of books on grief after the murder of my son at the age of 19 by his cousin and this one has been very helpful and to the point.
I cant recommend the podcast GRIEF 2 GROWTH enough as well. I have found it a place of great comfort and a source of helpful books to read on grieving, NDE's and forgiveness. I especially needed to read the recommended book 99 REASONS TO FORGIVE by Geoff Thompson. Thank you Brian for all that you do for people grieving everywhere.

Spent my entire beach vacation enjoying this book.

I've listened to all of Andy's books but this one was particularly interesting and enjoyable because of stories about Ben and little Lucy. I love that Andy has his own cute little family now and wish them all the best!! I also envy his friend group and would pay anything to hang out one night. Love ya Andy!💜🫶🤣😘

Heartbreaking & Ultimately Inspiring

I love the candidness of Paris in this book. I appreciate her vulnerability in telling her true story. Not everyone is who they seem to be. I’m in awe of everything she has accomplished. This book is a fascinating look into a life you THINK you know but is much deeper than we ever knew.

Very Inspirational!!!

I saw this book featured on Good Morning America with Robin Roberts, and immediately pre-ordered it. This book was very inspirational and gives me a desire to develop an even deeper relationship with God. I’m going through a difficult time with the court system with my sons, murderer, and, seeing the way, Jonathan took control of his case has given me hope that I can do the same and not just sit back and watch and hope my sons murderer gets convicted. I highly recommend this book.

POWERFUL-INSPIRING-TRIUMPHANT

I never knew much about Mariah Carey before watching her reality show. I instantly fell in love with her and Tanaka afterwards. I knew she worked hard and was not always presented in the truest light after watching the show. What I DID NOT KNOW was how she grew up and of all of the adversity she had faced along the way in her childhood, career and 1st marriage. I took a chance on this book because of all the high ratings and boy am I glad I did. You can’t make this stuff up! This poor girl has gone through hell and back and despite it all she has triumphed over it and come out on top. I highly recommend this book if you’re a fan or even if you’re not a fan or somebody that just didn’t know much about Mariah Carey because beside the fact that she’s famous, this a REAL story of real struggle, neglect doubt but ultimately of what you can do with your life with FAITH!!! You go Mariah! I wasn’t a LAMB before but now I AM!!!!❤️

I was not aware of the blue people of Kentucky before this book. It was extremely interesting and kept my attention the entire way through. I heard about the packhorse library but the combination of both made for a very enjoyable, interesting and educational listen.

I’TS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I FELT A BOOK WAS WORTHY OF MY CREDIT!! I started panicking about the second to the last chapter because I knew it was about to end and didn’t know when I would enjoy a book again as much as I enjoyed this one!! I absolutely fell in love with every character in this book. It was so well written and thought out. I want to move to Nantucket right this minute! Please write the second book that continues the story of their children (no spoilers).....🙏🙏🙏🙏
