Slow starting, but turned into gripping story.

I didn't enjoy the book at first, but once I got into it I couldn't put it down. I had to find out the big secret. If you like a good mystery and love story I recommend you read this book.

Enjoyed the stories

I live in New Hampshire. The Atlantic is an easy drive from home. I have been seeing lobster and fishing boats at the coast every time I visit. This book is far from my usual subject matter. But I am so glad I found it. I really enjoyed hearing the true life stories of a real fishing vessel captain. It is well written and even made me laugh at times. As a bonus this is a woman who is sharing her experiences. Loved it! I definitely recommend it.

Elton John fans must read.

Elton John has lived a life full of everything. He is friends with stars and the Royal family. He has had great loss and manages to come out okay. So read about his weird life. He doesn't hold anything back. I recommend this book. Enjoy!

A gripping story from a young child.

This gripped me from beginning to end! This story is happy, sad, sometimes makes you laugh. I'm so glad I took this journey with Sandra. She writes in such a way that she takes the reader back to her struggles as a child. Her love for her parents and siblings. All the moves, poverty, a mean abusive father. If you begin this book I don't think you will be disappointed. I highly recommend it.

A lot of ups and downs.

The story of a lovely couple. Or so it seems. A simple business trip, an airplane crash and life is up ended for a wife. But the husband wasn't supposed to be on a plane to Seattle! The wife then discovers more about her husband. I didn't want to stop listening.

Love the dog, but the rest not so much.

I loved the dog(s) and the boy Woody. But this is a thriller and the cannibal is a little more gore than I like. Parts are hard to read. I did stick with the story and read it to the end. I recommend the story and if you like thrillers with a good story. If you don't like gore you may want to pass.

Very entertaining. I'm hooked!

A mystery series from a dogs perspective. Very cute idea and it works. Chet and Bernie are Private Detectives that are a great team. Chet is funny and I didn't want the book to end. I laughed out loud throughout. I recommend this book and I can't wait for the next book in the series. I'm hooked.
