Historia
In a small Mississippi town, Harriet Cleve Dusfresnes grows up in the shadow of her brother, who—when she was only a baby—was found hanging dead from a black-tupelo tree in their yard. His killer was never identified, nor has his family, in the years since, recovered from the tragedy. For Harriet, who has grown up largely unsupervised, in a world of her own imagination, her brother is a link to a glorious past she has only heard stories about or glimpsed in photograph albums.

A little unfinished for my taste.

Love Donna Tartt as she's is an artist. Her books are fully developed as was this one. However, the ending left me wanting more...a last chapter, an epilogue or perhaps part 2.

Historia
When we first meet 14-year-old Susie Salmon, she is already in heaven. In the sweet, untroubled voice of a precocious teenage girl, Susie relates the awful events of her death and her own adjustment to the strange new place where she finds herself. With love, longing, and a growing understanding, Susie watches her family as they cope with their grief. This story of seemingly unbearable tragedy is transformed into a suspenseful and touching narrative about family, memory, love, heaven, and living.

It was not bad
Revisado: 03-10-15
The characters were well developed and there were enough mysteries to keep my interest. However, the story got stuck on superfluous descriptions and lagged a bit. She also left out the conclusion of two of the characters, which was a big bummer.

Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

Loved it! Twisty. Loved the performance too. Enjoyed leaving the country and visiting British folks (virtually). Kept me interested! D
