Historia
Trust is the fuel for all of life. We are wired biologically, neurologically, emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically to trust. Dr. Cloud explores the five foundational aspects of trust that must be present for any relationship to function successfully and helps us to understand how to implement them. He also guides us through the difficult process of repairing trust when it has been violated and broken, even when restoring trust feels impossible.

Lifts the foggy definition to trust.
Revisado: 04-06-24
For those of us who have been gaslighted our entire lives, the author clearly defines what trust looks like, feels like, and what we can rely on to believe in ourselves for trust-defining boundaries.

Very Insightful
Revisado: 01-13-23
A short listen packed with great information. Step-by-step guidance to coach you and your partner through to a more compassionate way of communicating with each other. My husband was reluctant to listen with me, because he felt I was the only one in our relationship unable to express pain without shaming the other or getting loud. He was able to see needed changes within himself and learned a better way of expressing needs & concerns to me, and I was able to learn a much better way to communicate my feelings to him. We've been married 38 years & we're still practicing better communication skills. Wish I had this info 40 years ago. I was excited to hear the book read by the author, and I wish he had been a bit more passionate and animated while reading his own work.

Great Info on Mindfulness
Revisado: 07-07-22
I really like the way the author explains mindfulness and being in the present moment, without judgement, for ourselves and others. True joy cannot come while we are stuck beating ourselves up over past mistakes, afraid to repeat history, or longing for what may or may not be. There is so much good information in this book, I immediately played it again upon completion. I highly recommend this book if you are like me, trying to let go of faulty thinking and unrealistic expectations, and seeking joy in a daily basis.
