Historia
It’s 1942. German Nazis occupy much of France. And twelve-year-old Miriam, who is Jewish, is not safe. With help and quick thinking, Miri is saved from the roundup that takes her entire Jewish neighborhood. She escapes Paris, landing in a small French village, where the spires of the famous Chateau de Chenonceau rise high into the sky, its bridge across the River Cher like a promise, a fairy tale.

A Worthy WWII Story!
Revisado: 04-25-24
Excellent story, well-written and well-researched. The narrator mostly does fine with the French bits— Not perfect, but not so bad as to be distracting. I will definitely recommend this book and re-read (and listen again) myself.

Historia
Stanley Yelnats is under a curse. A curse that began with his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather and has since followed generations of Yelnatses. Now Stanley has been unjustly sent to a boys' detention center, Camp Green Lake, where the boys build character by spending all day, every day digging holes exactly five feet wide and five feet deep. There is no lake at Camp Green Lake. But there are an awful lot of holes.

GREAT story; Terrible narration!
Revisado: 01-13-24
There’s no doubt this is a fantastic story. The way the author weaves together stories from three different time periods and brings it all together is masterful. I’ve read the book several times. The reader nearly kills it, though. Don’t listen to this book— Read it instead!!

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Everyone should listen to this book!
Revisado: 10-26-20
Born a Crime by Trevor Noah is one of the best books in the world! I listened to it first and then read the book. Listening was by far better! Trevor is an amazing reader as well as a writer. He is my favorite comedian. This book is so amazing. The meaning and the heart and soul that went into this book is astonishing! Trevor Noah wrote an unforgettable story about his life in South Africa and elsewhere! I suggest this audiobook to everybody over the age of 11.
Trevor thank you the most beautiful book ever!

Where has Katherine Kellgren gone?
Revisado: 03-22-20
This is a great book but the new narrator is so horrible it was hard for me to continue listening to the story.
The new narrator doesn't pronounce any ones voice correctly and makes the story really hard to understand. I wish that the last book could have been narrated by someone who would be able to talk in the right tones and pronounce people's names correctly.

Superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Revisado: 05-01-19
What I liked about this book was how the author had the readers in suspense.
I would recommend this book to any one who likes Mystery, Realistic fiction and Fantasy.
I choose five stars because the author did a great job writing the book and the performance was excellent. Kathleen McInerney did an amazing job reading he book. The story was just a wonderful read.
I would avoid the other books like Finally 12 because they aren't anywhere close to s good!
