Historia
Fate has torn us apart, and, sometimes, I believe the stars have given up on us altogether. Without my sister, the world seems darker than ever before, and the shadows loom thicker, rising up to answer the call of the Shadow Princess, and changing the face of Solaria for good. I’m afraid we’re almost out of time. Hope is a dangerous thing. It’s the key to us fighting on. But it could be what destroys us in the end. One thing is for certain, I won’t stop until I have been reunited with my other half, and together we will fight to take our crowns. A war is coming.

Fated Throne
Revisado: 03-07-25
Fated Throne is the sixth book in the Zodiac Academy series.
Wow so much happened in this book! I wanted to bite my nails (I didn’t) but I really wanted to! The struggle felt real as I listened to Fated Thrones as it was being read to me by Bridget and Jake Bordeaux. I loosely followed with the Kindle Unlimited eBook.
I am absolutely loving this series.

Historia
In the wake of the Kejari, everything Oraya once thought to be true has been destroyed. A prisoner in her own kingdom, grieving the only family she ever had, and reeling from a gutting betrayal, she no longer even knows the truth of her own blood. She’s left only with one certainty: she cannot trust anyone, least of all Raihn. The House of Night, too, is surrounded by enemies. Raihn’s own nobles are none too eager to accept a Turned king, especially one who was once a slave. And the House of Blood digs its claws into the kingdom, threatening to tear it apart from the inside.

The Ashes and the Star-Cursed King
Revisado: 02-12-25
The Ashes and the Star-Cursed King is the second book in the Crowns of Nyaxia series. Raihn Ashraj and Oraya’s story continues.
Oraya and Raihn are now married, and she is NOT happy about it. In fact, Oraya now hates Raihn. Raihn is now the “Nightborn King”, and he is marrying Oraya to protect her, and he might also be in love with her too.
Wow I loved reading/listening to The Ashes and the Star-Cursed King! I received the book on Kindle Unlimited and loosely read it at the same time as listening to the audible copy.
I was very happy to see that there were two narrators for this book, Aiden Snow and Amanda Leigh Cobb. It’s almost as if this author heard my comments on the previous audible book where she just had one narrator, Amanda Leigh Cobb.
Even though most of the books that I listen to are text to speech it is such a treat when I listen to an Audible book. These two narrators brought the book to life. I now can’t wait to read the next book in this series. This is a 5 STAR read for me! I loved it!
I am thrilled that I found this series from a several Booktok, Facebook, YouTube influencers. They didn’t steer me wrong!

The Serpent and the Wings of Night
Revisado: 02-08-25
e-Book/Audiobook Review:
The Serpent and the Wings of Night (TSatWoN) is the first book in the Crowns of Nyaxia series. This is also my first time reading a book by this author.
This is Raihn & Oraya’s story. Oraya is the “adopted daughter of the Nightborn vampire king”, Vincent.
Even though Oraya is a human she has grown up with vampires almost her entire life with Vincent protecting her. Oraya & Rainh have entered the Kejari tournament. There can only be one winner. It’s a kill or be killed game of the Vampires. Oraya is very leery of any vampire other than Vincent. It took a while for Oraya to trust Raihn and in the end she felt that Raihn betrayed her.
There are twists and turns throughout the book. This is another book recommended by Booktok’s influencers.
I loved reading TSatWoN!!! I will be reading more books by this author. I find myself bingeing on Romantasy’s at the moment! If I could rate this book higher than 5 Stars I would and I highly recommend this book!
The Serpent and the Wings of the Night was narrated by Amanda Leigh Cobb and she did a great job with all the characters from this book. I might be a little spoiled now because I prefer audiobooks to be read by at least 2 people.

A Court of thorns and Roses
Revisado: 02-07-25
A Court of Thorns and Roses is the first book in the series and the first book that I have read by this author. I saw several reviews on Booktok and decided I needed to read this book!
Surprisingly this book has been around for a pretty long while. Somewhere around 2015 when it was originally posted and then this version since 2020. Anyway, the point is I have only heard about this book about a month ago. I guess I have been living under a rock to not have known about this book and I am a blogger. I guess it is better late than never.
I was enthralled while reading/listening to A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACoTaR).
I am so happy that I found out what all the hype was about. I love all the characters from this book, well not Amarantha, she was evil but everyone else.
I mentioned earlier that I listened to ACOTAR from Audible and the narrator is Jennifer Ikeda, a new to me narrator. Jennifer did a great job with narration of all the characters. Although, I might be a little spoiled with 2 or more narrators reading one book. I have said before the narrators can make or break a book and I think Jennifer helped to make the audio great. This e-book and audiobook are 5+ STARS.

Twenty-four-year-old Saeris Fane is good at keeping secrets. No one knows about the strange powers she possesses or the fact that she has been picking pockets and stealing from the Undying Queen's reservoirs for as long as she can remember. But a secret is like a knot. Sooner or later, it is bound to come undone. When Saeris comes face-to-face with Death himself, she inadvertently reopens a gateway between realms and is transported to a land of ice and snow. The Fae have always been the stuff of myth, of legend, of nightmares… but it turns out they're real.

Quicksilver
Revisado: 02-03-25
Quicksilver is the first book in The Fae & Alchemy series. I listened to Quicksilver with Audible and I loosely followed reading the book from Kindle Unlimited. The narrators are Stella Bloom and Anthony Palmini and they were soooo GOOD!
This is Saeris Fane (alchemist) and Kingfisher’s “Fisher” story.
I started reading this book a couple of months ago and I just stopped reading it. I found that I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to read this book. But I am thrilled that I picked it up again and I was so caught up in the story that I had a hard time putting it down for those life things that we have to do and I would quickly pick up this book as soon as I could.
There were many twists and turns, and it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. I loved reading this book and now can’t wait for the next book in this series to come out. As I write this review the name, blurb and release date have now been set. Brimstone will be out in November 2025!

Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Fourth Wing Part 2 of 2 Dramatized Adaption
Revisado: 01-18-25
This is the same review from Part 1 of 2. I have thoroughly entertained for the 2 days that I listened with the Full Cast of Narrators. It's the only way to listen if you ask me!
Ebook/Audio Review:
Fourth Wing is the first book in The Empyrean series. It is also the first book that I have read by this author. As well as the first time I have listened to a Dramatized Adaption audio. (a movie in your mind). A movie in your mind.
Y’all this is the only way I want to listen to my books! Unfortunately, most audiobooks aren’t recorded like this one. There were music scores and sound effects just like watching a movie. Only you are listening to a book.
I am not sure I would have picked this book up to read without all the awesome reviews for this book, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube! I highly enjoyed listening/reading. I like to follow along with the story and I had a copy of the book from Kindle Unlimited.
With as many reviews on Fourth Wing I was actually very surprised that this book was on KU. After reading this book I now understand why so many people feel that this is one of the best books of the year. Fourth Wing is a 5+STAR read for me!

The Sick Boys are hiding something from me. They want to pretend like I didn't kill my rapist and they didn't help. But we're not ordinary college students, that much has become clear to me, and I'm growing tired of all of the lies and secrets. Their masks are cracking, and, finally, I'm starting to see the grotesque reality underneath. It's far darker than I ever expected, and it's not enough. They know everything about me, so now it's my turn. I fear nothing. Not them. Not the man that I killed or the people who set me up.

Revisado: 01-16-25
ebook/audio review:
Stone Cold Queen is the second book in the Sick Boys Series. Avalon “Ava” Manning’s story continues. The sick boys are Dean Carter. Braxton (Brax), Abel.
Wow, wow, wow! I finished this book last night and felt I needed to sleep on this review.
It was a little slow starting for me but man, oh man the tempo of this book went full on nuclear.
Natural Born Killers is next in the series and is on my Kindle now. I got this book from KU and as well as audible.
Narrated by J.F. Harding and Elizabeth Russell. These are two new to me narrators. And I loved listening to them reading my book to me!

A world of racing horses, wealth, power, and organized crime was what Garrett Hughes had been born to lead. He thrived as the boss of the southern mafia. Women had come and gone in his life, but he had never needed any of them. Once he was given his heirs, he no longer cared about marriage. He had one family, The Family. He didn’t need anything more. The gorgeous cocktail waitress at his private club is everything he despises. She gets by in life by her beauty, not striving for more. Just like his ex-wives.

Scorch
Revisado: 12-19-24
Audio/eBook Review:
Scorch is the ninth book in the Smoke Series. This book can be read as a standalone within a series. I have now read books 7 and this book 9. This is Garrett Hughes (he is the boss for the southern mafia) and Fawn Parker’s story.
I am not usually a daddy romance lover (Garrett and Fawn’s story was just calling Garrett daddy, this book was not the full-on daddy romance). I do have to say the writing & the narrator Meg Sylvan made it sexy as sin!
Garrett just wants to give, give, give and Fawn resists wholeheartedly. She is all about being fair and Garrett has never known a woman like Fawn.
I read the book along with the audio. I got the book from Kindle Unlimited.
I loved their story and listening to the book was so good! The two narrators are: Meg Sylvan and Lucas Webley. I haven’t heard of either of these narrators before, but it was a treat to be read to by these two narrators.
As you can probably tell I LOVED reading Scorch and if this is what I get from just reading 2 books within this series I will be reading more from this series.
Do read the TW's if you have any. Scorch was scorching spicy HAWT!

My closest friend has lost his mind. He killed my father, took over my kingdom, and despite the blood that now stains his hands, claims that we’re fated to be together. My salvation comes from the most unlikely of sources. To reclaim my throne, I’ll have to rely on the one man I’ve hated my entire life for survival. Solomon Winett is the noble descendant of barbarian warriors and the bane of my existence. He’s obnoxious, stubborn, and the only one who rescued me from a fate worse than death.

Revisado: 12-19-24
4.5 Stars
Crown of Blood and Glass is the first book in the Awakened Fates series. I have read several of Lucinda Dark’s books (and loved them) and Rebecca Grey is a new to me author. They co-wrote this book and series. This is Solomon Winett and Princess Devonry Aerea Estand’s story.
I have to say it took a bit to get into this book but after I was bitten I am team Solomon all the way! Devonry has come a long way. She is a princess and should be Queen except her throne has been stolen and Devonry has had to learn to survive.
I loved the book which I got off Kindle Unlimited and I bought the audible copy so I had the luxury of being read to. The narrators Nick Mondelli, Islay Jacobs did a great job, and they made it wonderful to just sit back and listen to the story told.
