Historia
Most people regard tax havens as being relevant only to celebrities, crooks and spivs, and mistakenly believe that the main offshore problems are money laundering and terrorist financing. These are only small parts of the whole picture. The offshore system has been (discreetly) responsible for the greatest ever shift of wealth from poor to rich. It also undermines our democracies by offering the wealthiest members of society escape routes from normal democratic controls.

discussing propaganda - no perspective
Revisado: 11-01-18
I hated this book with scalding heat. It is written from a seemingly self-unaware far left perspective. It was preachy and a waste of time.
I would never suggest this waste of time to anyone. I wish I had a paperback so I could burn it. If you live yourself, do not download this book.

good story but author is preachy and talks down
Revisado: 09-18-16
beginning and end are painful but the story is good. his anecdotes and generalizations reveal his lack o economics training and political perspective. but his experiences and interactions are very interesting to read. skip the end if you don't see him as the Messiah.
