Nova Terra Guardian picks up where Kingbreaker ended. With a clear need the break free of the negative effects from completing the World Quest, Thorn must rely on his companions to break free from the curse.

The world of Nova Terra continues to expand as Thorn explores it and I find myself caught up in the action. Eric Jason Martin does another outstanding job narrating this audiobook.

Sometimes we all need to be reminded of the simple timeless wisdom that can be drawn upon when we have been rocked to the core.

Author Martin Meadows does a great job of sharing his insights, and wisdom for facing hardship. He personally breaks down the immediate strategies that help bring calm and steadiness to help readers go from surviving to thriving in the face of crisis.

There are some great ideas in this audiobook that you and I can put to work in our lives to acknowledge what has happened, take a time to process what has happened and when we are ready to move forward to engage in reframing constructively what has happened for future personal and professional growth!

I highly recommend this audiobook! It has helped me gain a new perspective on put a number of personal things that will move me forward!

Author Jay Samit does a great job narrating his own book. He take the listener on the journey of not only his own business endeavors, struggles and successes but gives some insight into what other Titans of business have accomplished.

This book gave me something I seem to forget. Those who have made it started out ordinary just like we all do. What they do with their ideas, and how they pivot through adversity or find creative solutions, or learn from their failures that makes the difference.

Change (disruption) is the only constant.
My key take away from this book is that opportunity lives in disruption and value is found and created solving in someone else's problem or your problem in a new way.

Each of us can be a disruptor and reap the benefits if we keep a lookout and take action to work with the changes that come our way.

I highly recommend this book!

My biggest takeaway from Unlimited Memory by Kevin Horsley is that the mind is a storage system that indeed is unlimited.

This book was all about the storage techniques/systems that help us better, store, and retrieve information in our minds.

Like any system you have to learn and then practice, practice, practice to get better at learning and recalling memories.

For memories to stick we need to store them in a fun way and SEE them!

Paul Kalanithi has written so beautifully and with love and with deep self knowledge the experience of his greatest quest - what it means to be human and the inextricable interplay between mind and body, what it means to be fully alive even in death.

We all will die, and I am reminded that how we do one thing is how we do everything. That one thing is life and death.

How will I live? And how will I die?
Paul's writing has awakened something in me and I am reminded how precious time is and that what I do with the time I have matters - I am committed to a greater depth of love and compassion, generosity and strength of character for having listened to Paul's voice through his words.

One of the best Autobiographies I've listened to. Trevor brings the listener into his world and takes us along on his childhood adventures and misadventures.

He weaves humor and heartache and horror in the telling of his upbringing, which mirrors South Africa's tumultuous dismantling and growth out of it's State sponsored apartheid.

Trevor is a powerful voice for what It means to belong and be human in a divided world.

We need more people with his humor and wisdom, he was born for such a time as this.

Martin has spent the time to bring us his best research on Self-Discipline for those that need it most- the Entrepreneur.

Most people open their businesses for themselves to escape having a boss that tells them what to do.
What they soon realize is that they must become the "boss"of themselves to succeed in their new endeavor.

Martin gives entrepreneurs a full tool kit of ideas to get going when stuck, as well as create, sustain and build momentum for getting the important things done.

The best part of Martin Meadows books are the actionable steps for overcoming the personal obstacles that hold us all back.

If you come away with even one action step that you implement in your life - you will see it pay dividends in your business.

I highly recommend this book and it's a great listen!

I think John O'Leary does an excellent job of sharing his life experiences taking the listener into the heart of real struggles he faced and overcame.

John's writing, voice and tone are vibrant and engaging. We all draw our own lessons from our lives and John has drawn out the ones from his experience that are universal yet spoke directly to me.

John's book will remind you that whatever you are going through contains inflection points that can transform your experience if you are awake to your life.

Ryan Holiday takes us, (the readers) into and behind the scenes of iconic men and women who have lived very public lives and done extraordinary things, some who turned great triumphs into ruinous defeats.

Some bore their trials and tribulations and lived triumphant to the end because they understood what a force the ego is and their personal relationship with it.

Ryan weaves history, biography and autobiography into a compelling narrative that brings clarity our own lives and to current events.

Ego is the Enemy points the finger at the real enemy that can destroy us and all we have built and love.

Personally I know my when my ego gets the best of me and now I have a way to recognize my patterns and change course.

This is one of the best audio books I've listened to.

Ryan's bonus discussion with Tim Ferriss is an incredible addition filled practical application.

Thanks Ryan & Tim, you have made listening to Ego is the Enemy time truly well spent.
