While detective Cormac Reilly faces enemies at work and trouble in his personal life, garda Peter Fisher is relocated out of Galway with the threat of prosecution hanging over his head. An outside view of America in the 2020s by an American.
Revisado: 08-19-22
A probe into the political culture of America in the 2020s. Where we think America stands, what it stands for and the reality of our views. Reminds me of Suzy Hansen’s book written about America while she was living in Turkey…as at the time an outsider. Both books bring home the truth that many of us feel about our squandering of America’s values by recent leadership at all levels and depths of our culture becoming no longer THE model for truth justice, and what the American way was. A good read, troubling but truth.
