Historia
Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, Tara Westover was seventeen the first time she set foot in a classroom. Her family was so isolated from mainstream society that there was no one to ensure the children received an education, and no one to intervene when one of Tara’s older brothers became violent. When another brother got himself into college, Tara decided to try a new kind of life. Her quest for knowledge transformed her, taking her over oceans and across continents, to Harvard and to Cambridge University.

Great book!!

I loved this book. It was a little hard to listen to at first. The lady has a really nice speaking voice. I didn’t like it when she changed her voice to sound like a man. Overall it was a great book.

Historia
There's a cultural evolution taking place inside of Mormonism. The evolution of church culture has been something that has needed to happen for a long time. Culture, traditions, oral laws, and the status quo can be a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing.

I loved how simple his explanations of the church were. This book is enjoyable and easy to relate to.
