14 Hours I Can't Get Back

This book did not need to be 14 hours. A book full of unnecessary conversations. I want the author to stop trying to sell us the lie that Kaz and Emily are good people deep down and that this is a great couple with a great love story. It's basically a love story of the Joker and Harley Quinn. Two homicidal maniacs who are obsessed with having sex with each other. Kaz is the most unbearable character. He literally thinks he's a lion when he's really just psychotic man child. The breast milk sex scene was truly disgusting. Also, Emily should be locked in a mental institution forever. And for the love of God, please get another narrator for Emily.

This book was way beyond a sexy bad boy story. Viscous was straight abusive. There was absolutely nothing sexy about this story. The story is about an abusive narcissist and the weakest woman in the world.

Each book in the Lion and Mouse series is worse than the one before. Kenya has a couple of good books, but I'm thoroughly dissatisfied in this series. The writing is lazy and cheesy. This book was terrible, and I actually liked Max as a character, but what a huge disappointment. Why does she spend 80% of the book describing their outfits every day and describing EVERYTHING in the room. The narrator was terrible. Please don't be fooled by the positive reviews like me. Save your credit for a better book.

What a ridiculous story

The only reason I continued this series is because I hatr not finishing things I start. Each book has been worse than the last. The two main characters are complete idiots. One is a mentally disturbed serial killer and the other an overgrown spoiled entitled Brat. This book did not need to be 17 hours. 75% of the story was wasted time describing their daily outfits and scenery. WHY??? The author is wasting too much time. Honestly, if we're trying to tell a mob story...the Lion and the Mouse should be dead by now because they spend too much time focusing on having sex. I need the author to pick a lane and stay in IT. Are you a raunchy erotica author or serious author? Either way, it's terrible writing.
