Disappointing, expected more from such august authors

I was surprised by the superficial level of the discussion and they really had only one main point, that humans better get control of AI before it gets control of us. Not exactly a novel thought. although they tried to cover a very broad spectrum of issues relating to the use of AI, I found it lacking in any specific proposed solutions, which t you would reasonably expect from such distinguished and experienced authors. In short, disappointing,

I enjoyed the story, although it was a little slow at points. the performance was a bit unenthusiastic and I could have done without the overdone constant background music.

overall, a very interesting story

Very enjoyable listen. The multi-timeline style took a little getting used to, but it was not hard to follow. Parts of the storyline stretched believability a bit but a great performance from Peter Giles smoothed out the rough edges.

The tragically real human story of World War II told with strengh and clarity. It illustrates the depths of human evil and goodness in very real and historically accurate terms. There are lessons for humanity on virtually every page.

he effectively makes the argument

he effectively makes the legal argument as you would expect a lawyer to do. However I do wish he would have provided alternative perspectives in those areas where he is simply expressing one possible viable scenario or opinion, rather than stating fact. it would have given the whole thing more credibility. Overall though, it's an important book for people to read; and if it turns out to be even halfway true, it paints a chilling picture that people should be very concerned about. Regarding the narrator, how can he not know how to pronounce some of the most important (and public) characters in the book?? He wasn't even close on several of them; and it was very distracting.

A light listen at best

It gets three stars for it's authorial novelty, and the general theme is interesting although somewhat simplistically developed. Muchof the detailed storyline really stretches credulity, however. Narration was mediocre and overly produced.

Early Bosch is still the best Bosch!

Connelly's continued detriment of the low key, intense Harry Bosch character is really on display here. Harry learns what it's like to be a "private" detective.
