I didn't think that I'd like a story written as a series of interviews. Wow! I was totally wrong. This is a great story, well written, excellent flow and interesting characters. I'm sad that the story ended!

I love the first and second book of the Tainted Dominion series. The story is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I hope and pray that the author will write a third book. I need to know what happens next!!

Not what I expected, but I loved it, all the same!

I don't often write reviews, but I just wanted to say how much I loved this story. Stories about family drama are not usually my cup of tea. I really liked how the author developed the characters, exposing their flaws in a way that brought them to life. Although this story was light on the science fiction aspects that I normally prefer, I feel like now that the main characters are well developed, a second book could explore the science fiction elements that were hinted at. I always love this narrator, too. She is always able to make the characters come alive, regardless of what story she's reading.

This story had a good flow to it!

This is the first story I've read from Kenneth Johnson. I liked the flow of it. Sometimes, when a story has multiple first person narratives, the story can get bogged down, rehashing what other characters had already discussed. It can also get every confusing. This author was able to avoid those downfalls, allowing the story unfold very organically. I'm an avid reader and listener of audio books. I enjoyed this story a lot. (Spoiler alert) I was a little worried that that main character was going to take credit for all the major advances in society but the author was able to integrate the main character's influences on world events without claiming all big advances came from him whispering in the right ears.

Surprisingly good!

I wasn't expecting much when I started this book. Boy, was I wrong! This is a very well written story with nicely developed characters. The plot line was a different and interesting take on the subject. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
