I love to read and have to rely on audibles because I don't have the luxury of curling up with a book as often as I'd like to. This narrator was excellent and the storyline was great. Three sisters fussing and fighting, but sticking together...most of the time. An estranged mother whom they see as strange. Delphine, the oldest, is the only one who has any memory of their mother finds herself remembering more moments shared and how she was able to stay in her presence, "...be quiet". Delphine learned from her mother, Cecil, that after her mother's death when she was eleven, her life was basically no longer here anymore. It took the entire summer to get to that point, but it was worth it.
All I want to do is share the joy of reading with my great nieces and nephews. Audibles will help the younger ones or those who have difficulty reading improve and enjoy the story along the way. I enjoyed reading all three books and plan to purchase them in print so they can curl up and enjoy a good, an excellent, book.

U could feel what the characters were feeling.

Excellent! Please complete the narration for the other two. I enjoyed going on each adventure. I have no idea how many times I've listened to both Adept and Soras. The Great Mother is amazing!
The lessons learned of taught in this nook: Don't kidnap the matriarch and not expect some kind of retaliation. Arrogance will be your downfall. Don't rely on magic when a dagger will do.
Waiting on the aubible for Masquerade and Westland.

I enjoyed the characters and plot of the story. The interesting use of genetics to develop enhanced soldiers. Choosing young girls and the smallest girl to exhibit the best results, loved it-- great characters and an excellent choice for the narrator. I enjoyed her choice of voices to relay each character and several sounded the same way I thought they would when I read it the numerous times before purchasing the audios for all three books. I'm ready for another, or at least a novella to see what adventures the two have after book three.
