Narrator was lack luster

Did not enjoy the narrator on Breath of Jasmine. The narrator used on the previous books in the Merriam Series was a much more enjoyable listen.

A very disappointing book

I have read and listen to so many Jill Shalvis book, I’ve lost count and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. Not this time! I must say that I was moderately disappointed in the story. It was slow and so very predictable. If I hadn’t paid my hard earned money for it, I probably wouldn’t have finished it. Also, I’ve listened to a lot of audible books but I found this performance almost painful to listen to. This is the first time I have ever written a full review but felt it necessary to let the powers that be, that in my humble opinion this book was sorely lacking. I’m just a reader with no special credentials but I certainly know when a book is boring and a narrator is lack luster. Thanks for your time, a devoted reader.

Performance

I very much disliked the narrator of this book. It was very difficult and confusing to discern the characters. I have recently listened to the entire series but I may choose to read (kindle) instead of listen to any more books in the series if this narrator continues to be the narrator choice for this series. Please bring back Xe Sand. I have never written a review before but I thought is was important to speak my mind. Judy Desmarteau

Would you try another book from Melissa Foster and/or B. J. Harrison?

It was a horrible book, what I listened to which was less than a chapter because I could not stand the narrators voice. Grated on my last nerve. I would return the book or get a refund if i could.

What was most disappointing about Melissa Foster’s story?

The narrator was horrific.

What didn’t you like about B. J. Harrison’s performance?

The worst I have heard.

I will never buy another Melissa Foster book. I would give the book less than one star if I could.
