Something about the story or performances are off. There is no true chemistry between the characters. I’m just not drawn into it. I’m giving up a third of the way in.

Romanticized look into the biker world but hot.

This story and author is great. The area this book is written about in Idaho is full of racist bikers, I’ve been told. But the story is well written and hot.

So I listened to the Authors most recent book which was good no mafia story just a traditional alpha male story . I immediately downloaded another, it was boring and repetitive, I only got through a 3rd of it. Trying to give the Author the benefit of the doubt I tried a third, it was worse. The female narrator is terrible, can’t take it anymore. Unrealistic in a really bad way. Hard pass.

Would you try another book from J. A. Redmerski and/or Lauren Fortgang?

This story is very slow and doesn't hold up as erotica. It is basically a young adult romance. A cute story if that is what you are looking for, but I couldn't finish it.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Not sure, probably one of my old favorites.

Did Lauren Fortgang do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes the narrator was not the problem.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I literally finished this book a few days ago and couldn't remember the story when writing the review. Once I reacquainted myself with the exerp I realized that the story was not only ho hum but totally unrealistic. It was like the middle of the book was missing. They went from skewing once and then, let's get married. I have no intention of reading the second book. Boring.

What was most disappointing about Meghan March’s story?

How unrealistic it was.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Not really but the narration was not the problem.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

The story would have to be expanded to make any sense.

Another reviewer hit the nail on the head when she said it's too much dialog in Kasey's head. Waxing poetically until you want to die. If only the dialog between the two characters was developed.

Didn't get to it because I was soooo bored.
