I kinda like these big, clumsy polar bear shifters. The stories are entertaining while also bringing plenty of sizzle. Reading in order is recommended.

The narrator is Tatiana Sokolov. She consistently does a good job narrating, and I enjoyed listening.

This is grittier than any other book from this author under either of the pen names I usually read that I can recall. Not a complaint, simply an observation. I actually like that she spread her wings a little.

Of course, as we go through the trials and tribulations that Jayce Hawkins and Charlotte "Peaches" Owens go through, literally and figuratively, I occasionally debated which one drove me crazier. In the end? I think they're fairly even. They both make multiple bone headed decisions throughout, neither doing a good job of learning the lessons the hard way, let alone the easy way (i.e. heeding warnings), until they've repeated their mistakes a few times.

Despite that, I found myself rooting for them, not just as a couple but clearing a path to rid Eastland of the scourge that seems to hang over it like a black cloud. There are sweet and tender moments to go along with the... *shakes head* ...whatever that was, as well as a little humor.

The way this wraps up is a cross between a comedy of errors and a guide on what not to do in a corrupted small town. There's a bow on it all, but I expected better. This is probably my least favorite book from this author. It actually hurts me to acknowledge this.

I read along with the audio book. The narrators are Alan Carlson and Avie Paige. Both did a good job and kept me engaged even when I considered bailing.

Delaina "Chastity" Buchanan's first encounter with Senan Murillo was funny and tempting. I love how she's a combination of shy and forward. Mostly, shy but still cute.

By the time Ander and Brett enter the picture, the heat has definitely risen, and they just make it hotter! It is fun and lighthearted with a little bit of seriousness. When they aren't lost in pleasure, they are usually joking around. I really liked it.

I listened to the audio book. The narrators are Vivienne LaRue and Zachary Johnson. I did enjoy the teasing and fun that they brought to the story.

This is an absolutely perfect way to start my day! This is a quick read and filled with all of the hallmarks of a Vivian Arend story - fun, cute, steamy, funny, and family filled shenanigans.

Not only do I love Rose Fields and Chance Gabrielle together, but I also love who they are apart. They love hard, and even though things progress quickly, I love that they stop, consider it, and forge ahead anyway.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is Tatiana Sokolov. She is so easy to listen to, and her accent for Chance is good.

The second collection of vignettes is sweet, silly, full of friendships, a fun boudoir shoot, a surprise party, a baby event, and more. I loved each one. (NOTE: prior reading required.)

Julia Blushing, Zach Sorenson, Ashton Stewart, Sonora Fallen, Madison and Ryan Zhao, and several others received either bonus epilogues or more love and shenanigans added to their stories. I was amused by the lot of them. 🩷😁

Walker and Ivy (Fields) Stone get a bonus story, with an interlude for Ginny Stone and Tucker Stewart. It had me teary-eyed as they welcomed Carter, Chloe, and Harper to the Stone family. There's heartbreak and challenges, but how they handle them is heartwarming. 😢🤧💔💙

I'm glad I got to enjoy these. They are essentially bonus epilogues for three couples and a short story for a fourth. All are wonderful additions to these Heart Falls love stories. 🥰💚👏🎉

Each comes with a surprise from at least one side of the couple. You'll have to see for yourself, but I should note that prior reading is highly recommended.

I'll break it down a little by couple:

Tamara Coleman, along with Caleb, Emma, and Sasha Stone, start us off with their tearful union. It's sweet, tender, and perfect for them. 😢🤧🩵

Ivy Fields gets the kind of wedding that suits her with a man who thinks she hung the stars. Oh heck, I think she feels the same about Walker Stone. 😘

Of course, there are goat shenanigans and all. 😂

This brings us to Kelli James and Luke Stone. Their only plan is no plan. Hehehe.... And the witnesses to all of it take the cake. 😍 Very apropos.

Last but not least, we have Lisa Coleman and her tenderhearted veterinarian, Josiah Ryder. This is the short story. There are a couple of surprises in here, the most obvious of which is Sunshine (not the actual name), but the emu might be the best.

This essentially goes from conception (*brows wiggle*) to birth, with a lot of cameos and crossovers, which I ALWAYS love.

I love the early warning system they found themselves with. It provides plenty of chuckles. I also love the passion and understanding these two have. It's a great addition to the collection.

I read along as I listened to the audio book. The narrator is Tatiana Sokolov. She's a really good narrator. It's hard to find new things to say when you've listened to and reviewed dozens of the books she's narrated, so I'm gonna recommend you give her a try.

For my first time reading Lexxi James, this was apparently a good place to start. The tease at the beginning with them hitched was interesting, but it's exactly that as this ends with a cliffhanger. (It's book one of a trilogy.)

Now, I need book two (and three). The push, pull, and overall chemistry between Kennedy Mullvain (Luciano) and Enzo D’Angelo is captivating. The way things end is just... ARGH!

I read and listened to the audio book. The narrators are Rose Dioro and Patrick Zeller, both of whom I really like. I look forward to continuing the series with them.

Being groomed by her foster parents for a man in the church is still grooming. I was so happy to see Elena Vargas make her own path. Although, the fact that she felt like she had to run away as an adult was sad.

She's insanely naive, but I like how even when she struggles against what she grew up with, she finds a way to move forward. I laughed when she pulled a book out while at a party at the clubhouse. 😆 It's the kind of thing I'd do if the scene wasn't what I expected or enjoyed.

I loved getting Noah "Outlaw" Borden's story and seeing him get his HEA after everything that happened in Wire's book (prior reading not required, but might be helpful). It's sad to see the impact to his "usefulness" to the club, but it's also one of the most realistic aspects of this incredibly over-the-top tale.

He comes across as quite the alpha🕳 on a few occasions, but it's apparent that he is more teddy bear and fierce protector than anything else when comes to Elena.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is Umi Markkanen. I've listened to a couple dozen of the books she narrated. She continues to deliver a great listen.

OK, here is a quick list of some things I love about this book:

- From the moment they meet, Sonora Fallen is giving Ashton Stewart a hard time, keeping him on his toes, and it's hilarious!

- Their story spans nearly two decades, going back to before Caleb Stone was responsible for overseeing Silver Stone ranch. For those keeping score, that's before book one of the Stones of Heart Falls series. (Prior reading isn't required, but you may appreciate this more if you have better context.)

- Even in their 60s, they're sneaking around like teenagers! 😊💚🔥

There's more, but at some point my review could end up longer than the book. So instead of that, I say, go read this! 😉

There's loss, a pesky 'ghost' (this is a play off of <i>'A Christmas Carol'</i> after all), some bossiness, disheveled clothes, secret interludes, and touches into all of the Heart Falls stories so far. The sadness that stands along some of the joy makes this feel so realistic. It's funny, cute, and steamy, and they're occasionally exasperating yet refreshing.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is Tatiana Sokolov, who continues to deliver a quality listen.

***DUET / ENSEMBLE NARRATION***

Lachlan O’Rourke and Katya (Little One) Koslov are insanely hot. I love the playfulness that the large and brooding enforcer engages in when it comes to his obsession. That is when he isn't being a possessive you know what or exacting revenge on enemies. 😂

I do love this couple and how they traverse danger and secrets. I also love that we see them vulnerable as well as fierce. 😍

A long time mystery may soon get answers. I can't wait for the next book!

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The ensemble cast of narrators lead by Troy Duran and Lexi Evans, also includes DB West, Tyler Griffin, and Logan Anare. I love the accents and overall production. I've had the pleasure of listening to each of the narrators, and I absolutely love listening to them like this. 🎧💚🎧
