Historia
If there is one belief that has united the left and the right, psychologists and philosophers, ancient thinkers and modern ones, it is the tacit assumption that humans are bad. It's a notion that drives newspaper headlines and guides the laws that shape our lives. From Machiavelli to Hobbes, Freud to Pinker, the roots of this belief have sunk deep into Western thought. Human beings, we're taught, are by nature selfish and governed primarily by self-interest.

What I’ve always suspected and things that blew my mind.
Revisado: 06-24-21
It’s common sense and yet I had to hear it just this way for me to understand what I’ve always suspected. People are naturally kind but there’s another side to it. Embracing my kindness while engaging my reasoning is the recipe for peace in my life.

Historia
Definitely not for the faint-hearted or the easily offended, The Spiritual Slob is, perhaps, the most entertaining and straight-forward book of its kind - the perfect antidote to those of us who are tired of flapping our wings so hard to get to heaven.

Relief!
Revisado: 01-29-20
Being on my journey and not getting what I thought I wanted, I decided to enjoy the journey regardless. It’s scary and confusing and I’m tired of white knuckling it while feeling like a failure. The Spiritual Snob was another step down my path and a delightful way to get out of my head for a while. My baseboards are really dusty and my car needs a good vacuuming. I’m off to discover what I’m telling myself 👏
