Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Very enjoyable

I read the Martian and really enjoyed it so I was excited to see another space adventure available. I hate spoilers, so I will provide none. All I will say is that I had no idea where the story was going to go but was happily surprised with every twist and turn.

blah
Revisado: 05-22-16
This book was recommended from a friend who loved it, honestly I don't get it. It's not a plausible story line and it's told in such a way that you end up not caring very much about anybody in it. I'm not even sure which side of the agenda it was trying to be, pro choice or pro life. Either way, do yourself a favor and read something else.

The first book was much better. Just felt the this one dragged on and didn't leave me wanting to read the third one. Main character becomes really irritating and whiney.

Historia
On a night flight from London to Boston, Ted Severson meets the stunning and mysterious Lily Kintner. Sharing one too many martinis, the strangers begin to play a game of truth, revealing very intimate details about themselves. Ted talks about his marriage that's going stale and his wife, Miranda, who he's sure is cheating on him. Ted and his wife were a mismatch from the start - he the rich businessman, she the artistic free spirit - a contrast that once inflamed their passion but has now become a cliché.

Historia
On October 14, 1943, 600 Jews imprisoned in Sobibor, a secret Nazi death camp in eastern Poland, revolted. They killed a dozen SS officers and guards, trampled the barbed wire fences, and raced across an open field filled with anti-tank mines. Against all odds, more than three hundred made it safely into the woods. Fifty of those men and women managed to survive the rest of the war. In this edition of Escape from Sobibor, fully updated in 2012, Richard Rashke tells their stories

A really good historical account. This is by no means a novel from one perspective. Enjoyed the after story more, going over the authors journey with survivors to get their stories.

Historia
The number one New York Times best-selling story about American Olympic triumph in Nazi Germany, the inspiration for the PBS documentary The Boys of '36, broadcast to coincide with the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 80th anniversary of the boys' gold medal race. Out of the depths of the Depression comes an irresistible story about beating the odds and finding hope in the most desperate of times - the improbable, intimate account of how nine working-class boys from the American West showed the world at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin what true grit really meant.

Loved how the story weaves history in with the story of the young boys. Could have done a little research on how to pronounce names of Washington towns, Anacortes and Puyallup are butchered :)
