Historia
We're now living in the project economy. As the number of projects initiated in both the public and private sectors skyrockets, project management skills have become essential for all leaders and managers. But despite this project boom, the failure rate remains extremely high. Why? Leaders have too many projects and too little visibility into them, and they lack the project implementation competencies necessary to deliver their projects successfully.

The concepts in this book are really forward thinking and incredibly helpful for people looking to get into Project management, without dictating what everyone should be doing. A great tool for the PM toolbelt.

Historia
Gut Reactions by chemist Simon Quellen Field shows us how our bodies react to food and the environment, and how our brain affects what and how much we eat, and in turn, is affected by what we eat. It shows why some diets work for some people but not for others, based on genetics, previous weight history, brain chemistry, environmental cues, and social pressures. It explores how dozens of hormones affect hunger and satiety and interact with the brain and the gut to regulate feeding behavior.

Tons of useful information
Revisado: 05-12-21
This book is full of science backed information about how the body works. Very useful for learning as well as incorporating into weight loss plans. It won’t lose the weight for you, but it will help you in the right direction. Great book. Highly recommend. Both author and narrator are superb.

Historia
Everyone knows that timing is everything. But we don't know much about timing itself. Our lives are a never-ending stream of "when" decisions: when to start a business, schedule a class, get serious about a person. Yet we make those decisions based on intuition and guesswork. Timing, it's often assumed, is an art. In When: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing, Pink shows that timing is really a science.
