A lot of fluff

Wasn't helpful. Better off watching YouTubers. And for a one hour audible book it was a ripoff.

Historia
Over twenty years ago, the heiress Patricia Lockwood was abducted during a robbery of her family's estate, then locked inside an isolated cabin for months. Patricia escaped, but so did her captors - and the items stolen from her family were never recovered. Until now. On the Upper West Side, a recluse is found murdered in his penthouse apartment, alongside two objects of note: a stolen Vermeer painting and a leather suitcase bearing the initials WHL3. For the first time in years, the authorities have a lead - with the suitcase and painting both pointing them toward one man.

Smug, pompous main character - no thanks
Revisado: 04-25-21
I barely got through the first two chapters of this book. The main character is a smug, arrogant “rich guy” and he flaunts it. No thanks.

Decent story yet long; bad narration and sound effects
Revisado: 04-04-21
This story was decent yet very long. The narration was very poor - mispronunciations (library, figure, etc) and at times the speed was off (narrator sounded drunk or very tired). The music and sound effects were very cheesy. An action book like this does not need cheap sound effects to keep your attention. Gunshots, romantic music, car crashes and other sounds detract from the storyline and just make the narration sound cheap.
