Historia
The young man with the shock of white-blond hair lay spread-eagled on the floor, surrounded by fallen books. His hand reached out to the scattered pages, as though he was trying to tell her something. But who is he? How did he come to be killed in Flora’s ordinary little bookshop? Flora finds out he was staying at the Priory Hotel, and when the gardener suddenly dies in its beautiful grounds only a few days later, she is certain that something untoward is happening in her quiet village by the sea.

Historia
It isn't the rain that upsets Carole Seddon during her walk on the West Sussex Downs. It isn't the dilapidated barn in which she is forced to seek shelter. No, what upsets her is the human skeleton she discovers there, neatly packed into two blue fertilizer bags.

It was to find a murder mystery saga set in a quiet English village. But I did find that tale in the imaginary town of Fetherington.

Historia
If you're like countless other women today, you probably feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, anxious, stressed, frustrated, or unsatisfied. You may be taking on an abundance of emotional labor-tending to others' needs at the expense of your own. If you've spent your whole life trying to please and manage other peoples' experience, it's time to speak your truth out loud, stand in your own shoes, and live an authentic life-rather than just behave.

Love yourself first.
Revisado: 01-19-24
This book was the first book to self love that I have ever read. I have always read books on how to improve, change, look better and feel better. For the first time, I have found that being myself is worth more that being someone else. If you have ever been told or thought that you are not good enough, and that you should be like your…blah blah blah. Then read ( or listen to) this book and start your journey to self acceptance. The narrator has a great voice as well.

Historia
Halia Watkins has her hands full cooking, hosting, and keeping her boisterous young cousin, Wavonne, from getting too sassy with customers. Having fast-talking entrepreneur Marcus Rand turn up in her kitchen is annoying enough when he's alive - but finding his dead body face-down on her ceramic tile after hours is much worse. Marcus had his enemies, and the cast iron frying pan beside his corpse suggests that at last, his shady business deals went too far. Halia is desperate to keep Sweet Tea's name out of the sordid spotlight but her efforts only make Wavonne a prime suspect.

The recipes
Revisado: 12-15-23
The story was so cliched. The characters were the “stereotypical” Black actors that you saw on Nineties sitcoms. I see how the author tied everything together. I stuck through with it until the end. I will not listen to the other two books.

I expected more
Revisado: 01-31-23
I was hoping for more romance from Flora and Jack. I’ve been following these to since the first book. Not anything too racket. I know it’s a murder mystery, but all these cliff hangers are causing me anxiety. I know it’s just a book for some, but the characters become part of us. Please consider your fans whenever you write your next series books.
