Historia
The evil bishop was defeated, and the Trial was completed. Nick rescued the humans of Zura and orcs of Nagduros, and brought them home to his new city–Frosthaven. Together, they formed the reborn Noblefrost Kingdom, with Nick as its king. But a bandit warlord rules the North from the shadows, and he will not allow a hero in his backyard–unless they are under his heel. Nick and his wives must grow their strength and gather allies, to stand up against this threat.

Amazing Book
Revisado: 02-01-25
JJ does it again with a knockout of a book. A strong balance of romance, action, and skill progression makes it a solid second book. Highly recommend for those that are continuing the series.

Historia
When a God of War barged into his apartment, Jake had no idea what to expect... but it wasn't being forced into a never-ending war against evil invaders, or that the battle would strangely resemble the MMORPG games he loved. Working hard and building himself up from almost nothing, Jake would need every bit of knowledge and preparation to master his new class of Summoner. Joined by a sly Demoness with an ancient past and a shy Valkyrie hoping to prove herself in battle, they'll find excitement and enjoyment as they level and grow in power.

Good story. Narration lacking.
Revisado: 10-24-23
Male narration was definitely lacking and close to monotone. It made the conversations...awkward and a little cringe. I feel like it would have been much more impactful if it had more emotion in it. The storyline was pretty good otherwise

Historia
The Hero of Humanity—the man summoned to slay the Demon King—he went and destroyed all who wronged him, humans and gods included. At the end of his bloody campaign, he had nothing left. He retired to a humble cottage built from the divine wood of the World Tree that he chopped down. All was well until one day, the world shook.

Trash male narrator ruins books
Revisado: 08-29-23
The male narrator phrases are choppy and very annoying to follow. When you talk, like this, it tends to be, very annoying. TBH, if they had a better main narrator, it'd be fine. The female performer did much better and I didn't find myself annoyed at the short, choppy phrases he used instead of longer sentences. Also that guitar music is fairly annoying.
Story wise, It's not too bad? Fairly generic storyline with an OP MC but has an actual head on his shoulders...for the most part. It fits well with the slow-paced genre and I don't really have any positives or negatives about it. Great time killer if I just read the book instead.
