I found this in the recommended freebies and figured what the hell. I wasn't expecting to be thrilled! Lots of excitement, lore, and quirky characters! But serious and WTF at the same time. The perfect combo!
I always love Will Damron's narrations, but he deserves a shout out, too. Perfect acting...I always knew which character was speaking without being told. His narration offers the final UMPH to make this a story I was completely into.

Where does one draw the line between good and evil? I was able to become totally immersed in Darcy's character, feelings, actions. Really I'm just stunned! I do not like the full cast type of stories, and I've passed this by so many times until tonight. I can't wait to start the next installment! I'm hooked! Thanks to everyone who made this experience so brilliant! And I love the new twist on an old legend!

I love Great Expectations, and I love how the writer wove G.E. into his own storyline. I was hooked from page one!

I was hooked from the very beginning. I was drawn into the action in a way I haven't been drawn in a long time. I felt fear, horror, anger, sorrow at the beginning...I felt like I was there. Very vividly and well-written book. Nora Roberts outdid herself with this one!
As always, January LaVoy delivered a perfect performance! She's in my top 3 favorite readers!

I absolutely loved this book! I lost alot of sleep time because I couldn't stop listening. The plot was a unique spin on magic and good vs...well not so much evil as lost. I will definitely will be recommending this book to others. The performance by Steve Marvel was excellent! After only a short while I knew who was speaking just by the voice.
