Historia
A veteran of New York and national politics, Luis Miranda embodies the relentless spirit of progress of American immigrants. There is no one on the Latino, New York, and national political scene with the breadth of experience, passion, and storytelling charm of Luis Miranda. In Relentless, he shares a fascinating narrative of his life and career—from his early days as a radically minded Puerto Rican activist to his decades of political advice and problem-solving.

Getting School: Again
Revisado: 05-21-24
This is a fantastic book. Luis is an excellent storyteller. The chapter that most resonated with me was "Getting School.” My mom was one of the parent association presidents at one of the schools in Washington Heights. She was one of many parent founding members of the United Council of Parents in NY School District 6. I remember the voter registration drives, school board meetings, planning meetings at Luis’ house, and social gatherings at the ACDP. Luis and others along the way we're role model that helped shape my future dedicated to a life of service. I hope people who read this book use what they learn make the world a better place for Latinos and all communities.
