It was an great story and i loved this series. But what is with this hate near rape fucking of teen virgins except for Charlie and David's story?
Even the anal sex without much prep first time and with 9 inch dicks etc? This book is brutal ...Axel is brutal ....I felt sorry for this lost child rather than happy for most of this book...what he put her thru was straight up abuse. Not even Jason/Blade was this bad.
But the writing is great...story telling is great and so is the voicing.

I find these stories, all of them from this author, so fanstatical! I mean how do so many of these women leads "fall for" men who buy them as slaves! or men who beat them with belt or basically rape them? this is crazy! In this book for example an 18 yr old girl is sold from her school to a man who treats her like a dog ...but when she is being trafficked she strikes up a normal as hell convo with her owner. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE YOU ALL!

Misogynistic Shit!

This writing itself is good but all of LJ Shen work is mostly misogynistic shit! So much so that I listened but could not enjoy. They are about teen boys raping, abusing and manipulating teen girls especially the one they supposedly "love".
Lord these pathetic teen girls are portrayed as if they have agency while they absorb the abuse of their socalled soulmate. These books made me physically ill. They should come with trigger warnings for any woman who was taken advantage of or abused by men who were supposed to love them.
