Historia
He is considered by many the greatest basketball player ever produced by the hoops-crazy state of Kentucky. In two years at the University of Kentucky, he scored over 1,000 points, led the Wildcats to a Sweet Sixteen appearance and was nicknamed “King Rex.” The first player ever drafted by the Charlotte Hornets, he spent twelve seasons in the NBA, dazzling in dunk contests and sinking one of the most memorable buzzer-beaters in league history. But by the end of his career, Rex Chapman was harboring a destructive secret.

Now an even bigger one. Thank you, Rex. For literally everything. I always cheered for you in basketball and life, and will continue to do so.

Amazing and entertaining plot with a perfect delivery by the author and narrator. There were characters I hated, cheered for, and was just absolutely fascinated with. As soon as I hit send on this review I'm looking up more titles from this author. GREAT JOB. Would make an awesome series or movie trilogy!

Loved every word of it. The author's words tapped into every profound emotion possible. At times, while listening, I thought of parts of my own life. Especially my later teenage years. The audio narrator is pure talent. One of the best audio books or books I've ever listened to or read. My thanks to both of you for this perfect piece of art!

Historia
A father and daughter try to survive the steady decline of all they know in this haunting thriller from award-winning author Ronald Malfi. First the birds disappeared. Then the insects took over. Then the madness began. They call it Wanderer's Folly - a disease of delusions, of daydreams and nightmares. A plague threatening to wipe out the human race.

I loved it. The author and the narrator are loaded with talent! So many different visceral scenes. I'm glad I added this one to my library and will probably listen to it again before the year is up. To the author and the narrator: thank you for such and enthralling story and performance!

The buzzy term in the self-publishing space right now is, "wide". I was doing this before it was a thing. As more authors hear about the benefits of self-publishing on multiple platforms, I find myself on the receiving end of many panicked emails. While the concept is easy to understand, the execution requires planning and patience.

A great source for self publishing advice
Revisado: 04-29-22
MK Williams is a jewel to the self publishing universe. Her books and her YouTube channel have been a constant and valuable supply of information on the topic for me. If you're looking to self publish or even if you already have, this book is full of great tips. Highly recommend (coming from a self published author)
Also definitely recommend her YouTube channel!
