Historia
"I’m James Taylor and I’m a professional autobiographer", says the celebrated folk singer at the start of this tender audio memoir. Through decades of music by one of the best-selling musicians of all time, who created classics like "Fire and Rain" and "Carolina in My Mind", James Taylor has doled out his history in the poetry of his work. Taylor says his early life is, "the source of many of my songs", and Break Shot is a tour of his first 21 years in rich, new detail.

I felt like I was journeying with you...
Revisado: 02-03-20
Hi James, I I thoroughly enjoyed Breakshot, and I totally get it, and it's on point. This memoir was like nostalgic gaps of my own memories of a time past, and yet so deeply embedded. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful voice and music and first 21 years. Would you please consider sharing the next 21? Peace and Grace to you and your family.

Right now, 70 percent of Americans aren’t passionate about their work and are desperately longing for meaning and purpose. They’re sick of “average” and know there’s something better out there, but they just don’t know how to reach it. One basic principle - The Proximity Principle - can change everything you thought you knew about pursuing a career you love.

The reason - This is helpful
Revisado: 01-21-20
The reason that I enjoyed this book immensely is that, not only was it helpful, but the Author repeatedly laid out plans of approaches AND bulletized the steps in which to do or view them. I was totally engaged in what he had to say, I was able to immediately visualize his reference points to my specific scenario. I feel like I gained an additional mentor, and I'm excited to put these principles in play. Thank you Mr. Coleman

Not what I expected, it was incredible!
Revisado: 01-18-20
This Audible was not what I expected, it was so much more, even 100 times better. I thought it was going to be about this beautiful upstart who made it big and now telling some yawn story about how she did it, but instead I was engaged and couldn't wait to hear about, what more has happened in her growing up that has shaped this lovely, beautiful person, now so willing to expose her truth and vulnerabilities. Cheers to you Nikki and Thank you.

Historia
When I found myself facing down the scariest black-magic felon in the city, practically daring him to abduct me, I had to wonder exactly how I ended up here. It all started when I accidentally landed a job as a bartender - but not at a bar. At a guild, populated by mages, sorcerers, alchemists, witches, and psychics. Good thing this lame-o human is adaptable, right? Then my favorite guild members - three sexy, powerful, and intermittently charming mages - asked for my help. Did they want access to my encyclopedic knowledge of cocktails? Oh no.

Historia
If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed. On May 17, 2014, Admiral William H. McRaven addressed the graduating class of the University of Texas at Austin on their Commencement day. Taking inspiration from the university's slogan, "What starts here changes the world," he shared the ten principles he learned during Navy Seal training that helped him overcome challenges not only in his training and long Naval career, but also throughout his life; and he explained how anyone can use these basic lessons to change themselves - and the world - for the better.

Insightful
Revisado: 09-03-18
I agree with everything in this book. It would have been marvelous to have its wisdom all those many years ago when I first stepped out into the "work world". Fortunately, all this wisdom in one place works out grand for me. I've wanted to share such golden nuggets as these, with my adult children, but now I can simply give them their own copy of this gem, as they are beginning to navigate their own "adventures" through private and corporate America. The book was one of those not too much and not too little reads. so I finished it in a day because I couldn't put it down. It also reminded me of things, and I giggled some too, as I thought the author had gotten into my mind-as I've been refocused with that little thought - JPM!

Hundreds of miles from ZaraCorps headquarters on planet, 178 light-years from the corporations headquarters on Earth, Jack is content as an independent contractor, prospecting and surveying at his own pace. As for his past, thats not up for discussion.
