I have watched the series and come back to listen to the books. The amount of detail and series of events lost to cinema that are in the book is to be expected. Both have grabbed me from start to finish.

Was hard to get into at first

I had a hard time getting into this serious at first. I found it a little aggressive but more the female leads every other sentence “o the shame” “I’m so embarrassed” it got a little redundant. But the plot was good and by the last book having all the sister back together really leaves it open to continuing, especially with a female offspring.
