Great Book, but bringing the receipts is a mixed blessing

In todays age of TikTok/YouTube shirt doom scrolling, reading/listening to an investigative reporter go deep into the weeds of an issue by presenting a mountain of evidence to support her claims make take some getting used to (but it’s surprisingly a breath of fresh air)

I encourage everyone to stick it out even though it might be tough to follow all of the different characters in the story sometimes (real life is complex).

The author does a wonderful job and (despite my previous comments) I look forward to the author’s future work exploring any one of many subjects (environmental movement, LBGTQ+, etc) in further detail

This book makes salient the most ignored, yet most damaging sin the has ever plagued the human race.

Although many blessed saints have written about pride in ages past, this subject has been mostly ignored in the modern era, must to the detriment to the modern church.

The author uses a combination of Classical Christian writings and his 30+ years of biblically counseling men sexual sin to illuminate what the Holy Scriptures have to say about pride and how it is overcome.

If anyone truly desires a real lasting relationship with their creator, this book will highlight the pathway given in scripture to become Irresistible to GOD.
