Very black mirror esque

I could visualize the story so well by the writing. This possible futuristic life felt straight out of a black mirror episode. In a dystopia where you can have virtual children and be graded by the public by how good of a parent you are secrets get exposed for the parents, childrens, and company.

The characters you meet aren’t the ones you’re left with

I thoroughly enjoyed this read. It had some many different points of view and what you think you know you don’t. how they’re connected was completely a blind item for me. I love how creative the author was in building a cast of colorful characters that had depth enough to add to the shorter storyline. The lying wife, the adoring husband, the docile child, the eager young hot babysitter, the murder on death row. Are any of these titles true? A fun read i enjoyed diving into

Predictability with some twist

Something about slightly off rich women with horrid husbands always pulls me in lol. This psych thriller like many others has a slightly predictable theme and plot however it was very engaging and fun to follow along. Shari’s writing emerges you into the story to the point i felt i was watching it play out.

Spicy and mysterious

I didn’t have any expeditions but this was a good listen. Some parts got me a little flustered and gave me ideas while others made me question what would happen next. I enjoyed it. I would like to know what’s next. I can see this as a lifetime movie lol

Such a unique way to story-tell, especially in a creepy setting

I liked the idea and concept of the story. It felt like a blend of different ideas that worked really well together. It’s read from the POV of interviewees from start to finish which i think was super cool and made you feel more immersed. The actual story itself was creepy and you weren’t sure what the big OH moment/factor would be. I think that slight edging and then reveal was a little lackluster for me which is why i give overall a 3 but i enjoyed the book! The male voices also sometime were hard to match with teenage boys so had me disconnect a bit.

A vintage thriller

I loved the old school feel but also the modern flare in production. The performance was great. I felt immersed and in the story. It also speaks highly about the times. I want to deep dive more about the real case.

It was a Cute little free thriller.

I enjoyed the story, i would definitely watch the lifetime adaptation. It felt at times a little too predictable but i liked the back stories and the list of possible suspects. It was a nice easy listen.
I don’t know if i would of felt it was worth a credit but i love that specifically for audible originals

A beautifully written account of a life unknown

I don’t even remember how this recommendation came to me but i got it with low expectations. It was a bit slower paced than i typically life books but the storytelling was so vivid and historically accurate that it was pleasant to read and compare to real life facts. I never knew about Belle in real life, even as a NYer i feel sad i never knew much about JPMorgans library either. But this opened my eyes and I can’t wait to explore Belles beautiful collection.

A bit long but worth it. Kept guessing till the end

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was a tad bit too long in my opinion, there were times i just wanted it to get to the point. But overall a good listen. As someone who always tries to guess the endings or plot i was kept guessing till the reveals. The way she introduced characters and motives really made me want to keep going so i could figure it out. I was invested. Definitely recommend

It gave a mix of “Clue” and “Lie to me”

I enjoyed this book more than i thought i would. It was an easy and quick listen that kept you intrigued throughout. It wasn’t very thrillerish but gave good psychological drama!
I could easily visualize the characters and settings i would love to see a tv/movie adaptation.
