Every time we get a new NF book I'm so excited to dive back into this world. You could definitely read this book as a stand-alone but I'll always recommend starting from the beginning so you have the opportunity to meet everyone. Plus if you're listening, you get to sit back and enjoy B.J. Harrison transporting us into a magical world.
Another 5 stars to Kristen Painter for this story or Remi and Ephie! Plus the addition of a new kitty, John Luke (unsure of spelling since I was listening).

GREAT Standalone Short!

I'm telling you right now, Kristen Painter never fails! His Makers Mark pulled me in immediately and held on tight as I listened! New characters to fall in love with and a fun storyline. I was definitely sad when it ended.
And BJ Harrison, amazing narration as always!!

I love the Shadowvale series and this may be my favorite one in the series! what a great place to live, where you can be yourself with your curse and still find happiness, friends, and love.
As always, B.J. did an amazing job with thr narration!

Honestly, I wish I could give this more than 5 stars! I absolutely loved this story, and the narrator did such a great job!

I love following the same characters throughout the series and seeing them all grow as their little group works to figure out the mysteries their small town gets hit with.

Once again, Meghan did an amazing job narrating!!

Oh man, it was so good to be back with these characters. I've been in a bit of a book funk, and as always, Kristen and BJ can pull me right out of that.

I'm invested in these characters and knowing what happens next. There are so many possibilities and directions in my head!

I'll give Kristen time to write and BJ time to record, but man, I can't wait for the next installment in this series!!!

Great addition to the series!!

This was a great addition to the series! I'd say you could listen to it as a stand alone, but you'll miss some key details if you don't read book one.

I love listening and trying to figure out "who done it" while Leanne takes us through the story.

And Meghan always does such an amazing job voicing everyone!! I don't know how she does it!
