I’ve read dozens of books on writing (many in audio format) and this has been my favorite and most helpful by far. If you are are writing a fiction piece of any kind, do NOT miss out on this course.

Almost a Great Sidequest

I had already scanned the Kindle reviews as I waited for the audiobook to drop, so I knew I would be disappointed if I expected this to be a tome like the others. I’m a huge fan of this series. I inhale these books and gladly re-listened to all 45 hours of Predators in preparation for this release.

As many have shared, if Aleron would have labeled this as 7.5 and advertised it as a unique “dark night of the soul” as our hero transforms underground, paving the way for even greater adventures, this book would be a solid 4/5. (There are still too many prompts and details for an audiobook, I didn’t see the need for an entire chapter dedicated to diarrhea, and his time underground did not even come to end.)

But since it’s advertised as a standard next chapter in the saga, it pales in comparison to the others. There’s no village expansion and no mention of the other characters we’ve come to love, outside of one chapter (maybe two).

I still love this series, I’m still eagerly anticipating Book 9, and I still have faith in Aleron. My only hope is that he takes his readers’ feedback with an open mind and a humble heart and swiftly brings back all the elements that make the Land a truly legendary tale.

Narration has been updated - it’s great!

I was almost turned away because of the reviews warning against the author’s narration. Looks like he took their advice and hired a pro. Austin does a great job. This is a fantastic book!

I absolutely loved this book. It is one I will be returning to again and again. This book (and most of Dan's teaching) is an astounding combination of the practical and the profound. Of the ethereal and the everyday. I highly recommend this book for anyone on their journey of personal growth (wherever you may be). Buy it. Listen to it. Take notes. Do the practices (or don't). Soak it up. And be transformed as your awareness expands.

I've listened to dozens of books on business, mindset development, and success. This is one of the best.

It's full of practical advice and totally useful philosophy that will help you see yourself, your work, and money from a completely different perspective.

Should really be required reading (or listening) for all people.

For anyone who takes the time to actually listen, Rob Bell is one of the great thinkers and spiritual leaders of our day. This book is no exception. Listen and be awakened to the truth that God is with us, God is for us, and God is ahead of us. Thank you, Rob for this gift.
