Awful RPG Narration Voice.

When Alyssa Poon is talking narrating character voices, she's good. But I really can't stand how she does the RPG narration in this series. She reads it in a broken, fluctuating tone, like she's mimicking a text-to-voice program from the '90s. It almost sounds like she's adding a comma and random pitch shift before every adjective.
Also I feel like the author is involved with some neonazi stuff with as often as he brings up the superior purity of his MC's "ancient, highly-evolved bloodline". It's really uncomfortable, especially on top of his sexism, "good guy" manipulation, and emotional blackmail by a MC who is supposed to be the stated racial exemplar of moral perfection.

Very Childish Writing

This author only knows six curse words and they will make sure you know them also. This is the most derogatory book towards women that I have experienced to date. There is a decent way to have slavery or fantasy fetish relationships in your writing without reveling in one sex being inherently less valuable than the other, this isn't it. I feel like the author needs to show this book to their therapist.

The worst story writing I have experienced to date

The first chapter almost returned to the same quality as book 1, and then everything got tossed out the window to chase after writing the most Gary Sue MC to ever exist. A few summarizing notes:
- Every chapter after the first was a cringe-inducing slog to listen to.
- Absolutely nothing that happens in this book was earned.
- Bruce can't go more than three paragraphs without contradicting himself or just saying something objectively wrong.
Please leave the "Aren't I so cool?" writing to the middle schoolers. It clashes with the awkward adult scenes.

I really hope that the story improves, because this was a very difficult to listen to. every one or two paragraphs something that would happen that didn't seem to fit the story at all. either the author would try to tell that something was happening that just clearly wasn't, or he would force an event to take place that didn't fit, or something else dumb. but this entire book was very bad.

Every part of the story was more irritating. nothing really happened of node throughout most of the book. although there was large amounts of fluff. it was somewhat difficult to keep listening to at times. overall narrators did a reasonable job.

Nothing really great, but there were a few okay bits. Mostly just alright. A few early annoying scenes as well.

it really felt like the author was using every chance he could to stuff more dumb cliches into the story, even if they didn't fit well.

The grossest story that I listened to

The MC and author are completely gross. I was expecting a lighthearted, trashy romance story. But instead, I got a story where the author introduces females by their hair color and breast shape. The women proceed to fawn and moan over the MC as he continues to act like a creepy old incel, staring at and commenting on their breasts. They then call him hero as he stutters and gets aroused watching their chest. And then he complains about how women look down on him for his career. It's just gross. Females are nothing but an adult magazine poster for this author to salivate over.

This book should have been a children's book as it's extremely awkward and elementary. The characters are supposed to be over 18 but they all act like middle schoolers. There are unnatural anime scenes as well as immature dialog scenes. And then suddenly there is a full on sex scene that's extremely cringe worthy. The narrator did a great job with the story she was given.

The cliches are getting bad and the characters are beginning to fall flat. The same jokes are being used but the author has forgotten how they went before and is hammering home punchlines that are off the mark. The main character has so little motivation for any of his choices now, only falling back on, "well, it's what the author wants to happen." Dumb mistake after dumb mistake and these millennium-old beings admire him for them.

Example:
MC "We should go somewhere and set up and then call our enemy towards up so that we have the upper hand."
Everyone cheers.
Enemy calls and says they are set up and tells MC to come and get them.
MC: "We have to go get them where they are!"
Everyone cheers.
