Oh my gosh, where do I start? Dustin being confused is understandable. But immediately sleeping with a woman and then another man and feeling absolutely no guilt?! And then admitting to himself he loves Brandon but still can’t physically say it? Good grief this guy is an ass. I normally love L.A. Whitt stories but this one felt rushed at the end and almost like it was just thrown in there haphazardly.

that will ever be enough to describe how incredible this story is. Gutwrenching and heartbreakingly beautiful. I don’t know that my heart will ever recover. Simply one of the best stories ever written.

Disappointing ending

I really enjoyed where this story was going and then….it ended. It left too much unsaid, untouched, etc. The author reveals big info toward the end and then just kind of skips over it. She doesn’t finish Sam and Rico’s story either. We’re just left wondering.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

LJ has done it again! The Monster is, in my opinion, one of her best. Sam is the ultimate bad guy! As always, Jacob Morgan is phenomenal! I wish they would use someone other than Savannah Peachwood, though. She’s beyond bad. Luckily, the story and Jacob Morgan make up for her horrible narration.

ZW is the only good thing about this

I had to stop listening bc I couldn’t stand anymore of June. She is rude, judgmental, condescending, and selfish. She seemed to believe that she and her family were the only people who mattered. And that her way of life was so much better than the life the kids had been used to. I love Zachary Webber which is why I held on as long as I did.

Female narrator ruined it

Female narrator sounded stiff most of the time. When that didn’t happen, she was very “breathy”. Loved the story, though! I would listen to Thatcher’s chapters but read Jane’s chapters. This kept me from stabbing my ears.

Oh.My.Gosh, y’all

Wow. Just wow. The story of Stone & Jackson is incredible. But Jacob and Teddy make it PHENOMENAL!!! I should be able to write down so many words of praise, but I just can’t find the words that would actually do this story and the narration justice. Simply put, listen to this story and fall in love with Stone and Jackson just like I did.

I LOVE this story and was so excited for the audiobook. Unfortunately, the female narrator is the same awful narrator from another book I had to stop bc she’s just soooo awful. Please re-record this book with someone else!

this story! ZW is probably the best narrator and I always enjoy listening to him. AA was fine, but not alot of emotion in her narration. This is the first time I’ve listened to a book without reading it first, and I was not disappointed.

But the narrator was a poor fit. The female sounds like she is around 50 yrs old. I actually stopped listening after a few chapters bc her voice just ruined it for me.
