Historia
“Can I kiss you?” It was two months before the world premiere of Juno, and Elliot Page was in his first ever queer bar. The hot summer air hung heavy around him as he looked at her. And then it happened. In front of everyone. A previously unfathomable experience. Here he was on the precipice of discovering himself as a queer person, as a trans person. Getting closer to his desires, his dreams, himself, without the repression he’d carried for so long. But for Elliot, two steps forward had always come with one step back.

Deeply moving and skillfully written

It must take great courage to be this complex person and to put many raw feelings into beautiful prose. Thanks for helping us understand gender dysphoria.

Historia
Marine algae are the supreme eco-engineers of life: they oxygenate the waters, create habitat for countless other organisms, and form the base of a food chain that keeps our planet unique in the universe as we know it. In this audiobook Josie Iselin explores both the artistic and the biological presence of 16 seaweeds and kelps that live in the thin region where the Pacific Ocean converges with the North American continent - a place of incomparable richness.

“Curious” is a treasure trove from the sea!
Revisado: 04-21-21
I have listened to “Curious” several times over. The writing is that of a true storyteller and it is read in a style that carries you along on a journey. Ms. Iselin creates an intimate
connection to these unique creations of the sea and also she also makes us realize how important they are to our climate and why there is an urgent need to protect them.
It is obvious that the research done for this book is extensive but the personal interactions with the seaweeds bring them to life. The PDF is also a beautiful addition.
