Historia
Daphne always loved the way her fiancé Peter told their story. How they met (on a blustery day), fell in love (over an errant hat), and moved back to his lakeside hometown to begin their life together. He really was good at telling it…right up until the moment he realized he was actually in love with his childhood best friend Petra. Which is how Daphne begins her new story.

poignant and laugh out loud funny
Revisado: 05-07-24
I, literally, was late to work because I felt like Julia Whelan was reading to me about me. The way Emily Henry describes the characters scars and insecurities made me think, that is me, and if these characters can survive, maybe I can too.
So funny, my husband called from another floor in our house, hey what's so funny? Hot anticipation like you dream about. I'll definitely listen to this again. 10 out of 5!

the best of the best
Revisado: 09-30-20
As usual, Jodi exceeds her own high standards as well as my great expectations. The reader for this audio book was stellar. I feel like these are members of my family who i can't stand to have grow up and move out. And the spiritualism and rituals were extremely helpful as I peer down the short way to my mothers final bow. I cannot thank you enough.
