This was a very interesting and entertaining story. The narrator did a wonderful job. So many times this story had you wondering what was going to happen next. So many twist and turns in this plot, some good some bad. It ends with a cliffhanger but then again this is a trilogy. Cannot wait to read the next book. Would recommend this book.

This was a good story about Madam Curie, how she became a scientist and what she had to do to make it happen. Also how she met her husband. My only question is why the narrator did not give her an accent when everyone else had one.

Chilling

The narrator did a wonderful job on bringing alive all the characters. The story itself was chilling and intense. The plot was excellent and you did not know what was going to happen next. Would recommend this to all who love a good murder mystery.

Hiding from a mob

I enjoyed George and Florence's story. They meet in unusual circumstances and have to hide from a mob. This story is done as a dialogue between two people. Verity Burns does an excellent job with the voices and brings out their emotions as they talk. Well done and enjoyable to listen too.

Wow! This narrator has done the voices so well you get chills up your spine. The way he does the doctor and the hyena is chilling. The characters are so strong and you are hoping that the lightborns that got away make it. This book ended in a cliff hanger. I will be buying the next book to see what happens. I would recommend this to all who love suspense, mystery and mayhem.

I truly enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator did a great job at bring alive all the characters. He also made the love scenes hot! Of course the author tells a great tale. I laughed and cried during parts. I didn't want the book to end! I would recommend this book to all who love vampire stories.

What made the experience of listening to A Michaelmas Wager the most enjoyable?

It was very relaxing listening to the words. The narrator has you picturing the words and seeing the story in your head. I truly enjoyed listening to Juliana and hearing her telling Rufus off.

What did you like best about this story?

When Rufus realizes he loves Juliana and may lose her because of the wager. He try's to make things right.

Which scene was your favorite?

When the mistress shoes up then Rufus's friend and turns Juliana against him.

Love at first murder

I received a free book in exchange for an honest review. I did not guess the murderer. Good read, love how Shandra and Ryan meet. Officer Blaine is a hoot. The narrator did a good job, I did think that Shandra's voice would be huskier. The story is captivating and keeps your interest. The grandmother Ella helps Shandra by giving her clues. It is fun trying to guess what they mean. I would recommend this book to all who love a good modern mystery.
