Historia
Ah, Nyil, with its magic, its monsters, and its petty gods. A divine spat leaves French medic Viv stranded in the middle of an arcane disaster zone crawling with undead horrors. Thankfully, there are strange allies to be found, not least the mysterious interface that helps humans survive in this merciless world. Viv will have to progress fast to survive this calamity and find civilisation. She will also need a bit of luck. Unless, of course, she becomes the calamity herself. After all, luck is such a fickle thing.

Apparently the only way to get your comment on here is to leave a five-star review
Revisado: 03-07-25
If you enjoy drama, read this story as plenty of drama. Also has lots of dragons. LoGIc and power scaling are thrown out the window. Book one is really good book two could use a rewrite.

Historia
It's raining in Liscor. The spring rains have come and Liscor's entire geography changes with the dawning of the new year. The Floodplains of Liscor live up to their name, and the only way anyone is going to travel is by boat. With the rains come more monsters, dungeon delving, more goblins...not to mention some unwanted attention for the Wandering Inn.

Historia
The Wandering Inn has a princess who solves problems rather than creates them, and her name is Lyonette. Yet what happens when the innkeeper returns to manage her inn? Lyonette must learn to be a good employee rather than manage everything herself, and sharing power is never easy.... Nor is it ever simple in war, but that is where Geneva Scala remains. In bloodier and increasingly brutal battlefields, The Last Light of Baleros is now growing in fame, but there is no future there.

top three of the series
Revisado: 01-29-25
I do believe that this book is probably one of three, the best of the series. It has just the right amount of world building, that's character growth character change drama suspense intrigue mystery fight scenes And comedy.

Historia
It’s still winter, but everyone’s on the move. Rags the goblin is heading north, seeking allies against the Goblin Lord. And Erin is going home...or trying to, at least. She’s determined to bring back cheer to The Wandering Inn - as well as Christmas! But the coldest time of the year leads to strange encounters with a number of people. At the same time, Ryoka Griffin is far from what she would consider to be “home”. Deep in the north, in the city of Invrisil, she finds herself as the guest of Magnolia Reinhart.

Historia
The city of Celum is not much like Liscor at all. While Erin is surrounded by familiar, human faces, she’s far from home and without her inn. At the same time, a certain ill-tempered Lyonette is squatting in Erin’s inn, and Goblins are on the move. The Goblin Lord’s threat reaches across the entire region, and the Redfang tribe has rallied against him with the Floodplains tribe, although their Chieftains do not agree on some crucial matters. This winter, there is only snow, Goblins, magic, and iambic pentameter.

It should be turned into a movie
Revisado: 01-09-25
My first read through of the series. I fell in love with it. I went back as soon as I finished it and read it all over again and now I'm buying all the audible books to listen to it with different character voices. I'm also reading the manga and love getting updates on the patreon. It takes a little bit of patience and understanding and maturity i feel to recognize what the author is doing at the beginning of the book series but once you understand you're a fan. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone And everyone above a certain age group and reading level. Definitely puts Harry Potter Lord of the rings And other such books to shame . It needs a movie! I feel like the first two books would be a great start of a movie franchise.

Historia
Slaying undead is an endless task, but one Hunter Haeight has aspired to all her life. She joins Noelictus' Hunter's Guild and works her way up the ranks, slaying zombies, skeletons, and ghouls with dedication and zeal. However, there is a rot within the Kingdom of Shade, and Haeight's aspirations turn into doubts as she finds a web of conspiracies in the capital, Menorome. The Hunters there are off—something is afoot. It is a bewildering, overwhelming place for new Hunters, as well as the fourth Princess of Calanfer, Seraphel du Marquin, who has arrived for her marriage, unhappy and alone.

I enjoyed the book. I loved the juicy details. I love the history. The best world building to date. Can stand alone but I would suggest finishing up to book 7 at least of the OG series before listening to this.

Historia
"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

Part one of a modern-day epic
Revisado: 12-16-24
This is a wonderful Slice of Life. Fantastic world building. Excellent and real depiction of characters! Mysteries filled with clues And foreshadowing. Readily available content. If you finish the series here on audible, you can continue on the author's website. One of my top five favorite female main characters of all time. This is a book series you want to get lost in. Mark my words, as long as you keep listening/reading, it just keeps getting better and better. I sincerely hope you enjoy this work as much as I have.

Historia
Last I remember I was saving my high school crush from the path of an oncoming truck. Now I'm a skin-and-bones weakling wearing nothing but my hospital gown. Oh yeah, the world is also full of monsters, and I'm the only human left. It turns out a godlike System evacuated humanity but decided to leave the vegetable in the bed. I could crawl into a corner and wait to get eaten by a kobold, but after years of being asleep, I have a new appreciation for feeling alive. I'll have to find the tenacity to survive, the courage to fight, and the strength to face some dark truths about myself.

very childish. pretty much for young listeners only
Revisado: 11-24-24
This is definitely a young teen book. The author info dumps constantly. The pov of the main character feels like the author is trying to write him as a psychopath. I say this because his personality completely diverges from a pacifistic 12 or 13-year-old who was in a coma to someone who enjoys killing extremely quickly . Also the author decided that his main premise will be cats vs dogs. Which in my opinion is extremely niche And kind of limiting in this system. universe, genre type. Overall, it's a ok story. It has really decent fight scenes. The constant monster povs are frankly unnecessary and I think they are done poorly. The first entire book location setting is a single building/ dungeon making it feel a lot less creative considering the fact that it's in New York City/ jumbled up otherworldly planetary buildings. The story feels short and rushed.
